Semaglutide Reconstitution Question

ad

I recently purchased a 5mg vial of semaglutide. The manufacturer instructed me to reconstitute the vial with 2ml of bacteriostatic water and dose once a week with 10iu of the reconstituted semaglutide.

However, with a dose size of 10iu and 2ml liquid and 5mg active ingredient in total, that’s 20 doses in the vial. At one dose per week, that’s 20 weeks of semaglutide.

From what I’m to understand, bacteriostatic water should be discarded 28 days after using.

Does this mean that, if I reconstitute 5mg semaglutide with 2ml bacteriostatic water, that I would only be able to take 4 of the 20 doses in the vial? Would I need to throw away the other 16 doses because the bacteriostatic water in the semaglutide vial is no good after 28 days?

Once your peptide is mixed and refrigerated you should be fine. My wife has been taking Semaglutide for a while now and a typical vile lasts around 2 months now. Although I have to say, when she first started we were buying 2mg vials compared to your 5

It’s recommended to ramp your dose up every 4 weeks until you reach a max of 2.0 - 2.4 mg/week or the sides become more than you can handle. It would look like:

5 mg = 5,000 units
2 ml = 2,000 units

Weeks 1-4 .25 mg/wk (1 mg total)

Weeks 5-9 .5 mg/wk (2 mg total)

Weeks 10-14 1 mg/wk (4 mg total)

Etc, etc

Point being the first few vials will last a long time but if you continue ramping up to the max dose they will only last 2 weeks. This was the schedule I followed up to 2 mg/wk and I didn’t have any issues with the first few vials losing potency or going bad. Enjoy the low doses while you can because it gets expensive! Also, don’t try to ramp up too quickly. The sides even at .25 mg were intense at first!
