Help lower before blood draw

ad

Of course these level are off due to my testosterone levels being high...next test is in 2 months...Any thing else I can do besides what I've stated below that can help regulate the number so my doc can lay off my a**

Pre lab draw I could have been dehydrated maybe ...and I wasn't taking aspirin at that time.

Total test- 1351 NG/NL

RBC- 5.86
hemoglobin- 17.1
hematocrit- 51.6
ferritin- iron saturation 14.4L

What I do now

Drink water. 1-1.5 gallons a day
81mg aspirin per day.

Your #s aren't that bad. Your trt doc.may lower your dose but your blood levels aren't bad enough for them to do anything. The plasma donation and blood.donation places allow up to 55 usually so your good even there I wouldn't even worry at these levels

1351 is way over and go to red cross to donate. Hydrate. Quit overusing test.

Over donating will boost rbc etc. Whys your test so high? Recent cycle or ?

El Logano's picture

That was a recent cycle on cycle at 400mg a week on cyp

Your trying to lower RBC? If so, go donate but it's really not that high. Add electrolytes to your water.

El Logano's picture

Just trying to lower RBC, HCT, HGB

The numbers are just at the top of the "DOC" scales...so he's "super" concerned...that's why I posted to get the number lower even if I drops 1.5...I realize the numbers are not overly high but to the PC it is...so to get him off me in a lack of better terms that's why I made the post.

I'll try adding electrolytes to my water..

It's a yearly physical with my PC which once I get this lower and he's happy...I won't be doing any labs with the doc I'll just go to lab corp.

Donate then or lower your test

El Logano's picture

Could I donate a day prior or day off

juiceball8082's picture

Even two weeks prior is fine

El Logano's picture

Ok...thanks...and on that note I should donate more often in general

But @Jockstrap is right so remember, too often can higher it. Just because the redcross app says its time to donate, you judge your own timing
