She did offer to wipe it, but told her nah that's bit to far and I'm not that old yet lol

Honestly no matter how bad things get I don't think I could EVER ask a partner to do that, I feel I could never look at them in the eyes the same way again if they have seen the contents of my arse. If it was just a Ghost turd then fair do's, but you never know when they are going to happen do ya!! LOL

Catalyst's picture

No chance of that. To be fair I’m not the ask for help type. I battle through even if it takes me five times as long. “I need no one” lol.

I try the battle through thing but she moans at me every time I do something lol

The morphine is definitely helping

This is all that was done

Nice bro, apparently the bicep injury is old and it's all like knotted up in my bicep where it snapped so that's why u never knew, probably got the pain and worked through it, they never found it on all the scans only when they did the op as was only ment to be in for a sabacromial decompression

Day 3, swelling is down a bit in the bicep, feel like can move my arm a bit more but not the shoulder, they upped my meds with 30/500 cocodamal and 100mg of morphine, just waiting for when can have the bandage off.

Forged's picture

Day 2 guys not much difference, the cold when I go out makes my ribs hurt which I assume is the position I was put on for the op, I should be allowed to take the sling off tomorrow so will see, also the cocodamol is useless and omfg my constipation is horrendous, am gonna ask for something different

Forged's picture

They did say the bicep thing looks like it's been there ages and it's all clumped up in my bicep hence no visible rupture from outside

Forged's picture

They did remove 4mm of bone and found the bicep rupture while was there, so was originally booked for Sub acromial decompression, spelling is prob my predictive text changing it tryng use one hand while still bit out of it yesterday,

So guys, 1st day after op and the local they injected in my shoulder has worn off, probably got a few hours sleep and my bicep has swollen up, the pain is probably how docs would score a 6/10, can't open anything with a lid myself without pain, all they gave me for pain was naproxen and a punny 8/500 cocodamol, so topped these up with my 30mg codeine that's prescribed my hernia scar tissue

Am gonna try keep every updated on my journey, but all I can say is the not being able to do much drives me mad.

No experience with it. Curious what they are recommending for recovery time?

Forged's picture

They was useless at giving me info, they didn't know iw what shoulder at 1st lol, the said can lose sling in few days and start physio in 2 weeks, but they are not great at details bro.

I had distal bicep tendon tear surgery. Not sure if its anything like what you are trying to describe here. I tore the lower tendon in my bicep. The opened my arm up in 2 sections drilled a hole in the bone and anchored my tendon in the bone with a button on the other side. 2 weeks after surgery they removed the cast and put me in a rom brace. I went back to work on light duty after 2 weeks. They removed the rom brace after adjusting range every 2 weeks and if remember correctly it was off 6 weeks. So pretty much 8 weeks until my arm was free. I continued on low dose test and doctor was amazed at my recovery. I wasnt clear to lift weight for another 5 weeks. This was couple years ago so i may be little off on the numbers. Im trying to remember off the top.

Update

Just been told got arthritis in my shoulder to

press1's picture

Injuries Suck they really do, unfortunately they seem to happen more and more the older you get. No reason as to why or warning anymore - just when they feel like it!! How old are you?

Forged's picture

42 dude, they are saying might have shoulder replacement in the future

press1's picture

I'm 1 year ahead of you mate at 43 Lol Once I turned 40 all my injuries just started happening overnight, I'd get rid of one and get into a good routine with training and progression again and then along came another!! Gets to the point where you just start laughing about it and stop getting so pissed off lol Is it the result of a particular type of lifting such as powerlifting or just general weight training?

Forged's picture

I know that apparently the bicep rupture is old, so I did it and didn't know about it, I mainly lift heavy but for body building
