Accidentally pinned with the drawing needle

ad

OK don't ask me how, I had everything laid out then forgot to swap needles lol. But here's the interesting bit. Of course everybody is different & we all have different skin, like most newbies I followed the advice of others on here & bought 19g/38mm needles for drawing & 23g/25mm for pinning.

I've had quite a bit of pain pinning so far with the smaller needles, with muscle soreness lasting for days. The larger drawing needle however left no pain. The whole process was simpler, quick jab/squeeze & the job is done. The smaller needle requires constant pressure for several seconds.

From now on I´ll be using the bigger needles, any other newbies suffering the dead leg after pinning might also need to try different sizes.

My only explanation as to why a bigger needle hurts LESS, is because the contents are delivered almost instantly. Of course it could also be practice & my body getting used to the experience

23g 1" and 1.5" for drawing and shooting. Swap out length based on site. Simple and always easy.

Reminds me of some Sustanon preloads I use to sneak back from Mexico 25 years ago. Those barrels had harpoons on them. I don’t remember the guage, but they were thick as hell. Probably around 18g

You damn right. No bigger than 20 gauge for sure. I bet some folks have alot of scar tissue from those pins too. Man how far have we come nowadays. Back then that's all I knew of was Mexican gear.

It sounds like you are moving the smaller gauge needle around a lot in the muscle when you are plunging in the oil, if you are having to really push it then the needle will move around effectively wounding the internal muscle. You do get better at it in time. I have never used smaller than 21G Greens for drawing and also injecting in the early days. 19G seems rather big for drawing.

I have alway pinned my glutes . I used 25ga 1 in neddle for injection. Never any pip either. I could never do my glutes just found it odd trying to do it and wife wouldn't do it for me and she is diabetic go figure. I want to try 30ga insulin needles next round and do a subcutaneous injection and see how it works.

Let us know how the sub Q works for you. An old member Rusty recommended that all over the boards. Worst advice I've ever seen here. I've come across only two Pharma grade brands that allowed my body to not have a reaction and absorb it properly. And even then only 0.5 ml max. It could just be my body and maybe a lot of you guys get great results with that. I'd love to find a UGL that I could tolerate with those. Same with suspension in water.

Will do, I will update on how it goes with sub q .The 0.5 is the rough part going to take multi shots on one day or spread it over a couple days. I am still gathering info to make sure I get it right first time around.

Sub-Q is good for TRT using pharma grade product's. Don't ever inject more than a half mil.; Not a great option for a cycle.

You'll get welts and some burning pain otherwise (goes away after a few days). Several sub-Q injections in a short period of time can make it look like you have chicken pox when you take your shirt off... Oh man, what a sexy beach body look that is.

Yeah mine will be pharma grade for my trt. Just waiting to see what they are giving me and how much. Found out 2 weeks ago my test is crazy low. as you can see in the picture here it is crazy low across the board. I havent done a cyle in 12 years.

Damn. Are you sure you're using the right pronoun?

Dragoon's picture

I dont use pronouns i am a male thats it thats all. lol Only signs I show is mooding , lack of energy and cant focus. I was shocked when i seen the results myself.

Only signs I show is [moody], lack of energy and can't focus.

...and the low T. Yes, that's why I asked. Those are all symptoms of a she/her.

laxman3221's picture

Ouch, I just use 27 gauge slin needles.

Ouch.... everyone is different. I personally use 25g 1in in glute when everyone else uses 1.5 inch, 1.5 hurts me personally. And get pip... but as far as using the 19 gage harpoon. Yes it would shoot in gear faster, but I would expect the scar tissue to accumulate alot over time, with the violent separation of muscle, the smaller the needle the longer it takes to release all the product ,and the more careful you have to be , twisting and turning supplying pressure and staying at the appropriate degree you pinned, everyone if different though....in the end you find what's right fit for you
Thicknes of oil. Pin Size. Trial and error
