+ 1 ChatGPT Recommended Diet

ad

I'm a nerd and asked OpenAI to create a daily meal plan for the following goals:

PROTEIN: 250 g per day (1000 calories)
CARBS: 333 g per day (1333 calories)
FATS: 111 g per day (1000 calories)
TOTAL CALORIES: 3332

I also asked it to be gluten free and eliminate tree nuts. It made the following recommendation:

Meal 1:
• 6 egg whites and 2 whole eggs scrambled with spinach and mushrooms
• 1 cup of cooked gluten-free oats with a scoop of protein powder mixed in
• 1 medium-sized banana
Meal 2:
• Grilled chicken breast (6 ounces)
• 1 cup of cooked quinoa
• Steamed broccoli (1 cup)
Meal 3:
• Tuna salad: 1 can of tuna mixed with dairy-free Greek yogurt, diced cucumbers, and cherry tomatoes
• Gluten-free rice cakes
• Mixed greens salad with olive oil and vinegar dressing
Meal 4 (pre-workout):
• Protein shake with a scoop of gluten-free protein powder and water
• 1 medium-sized apple
Meal 5 (post-workout):
• Grilled salmon fillet (6 ounces)
• 1 cup of cooked brown rice
• Roasted sweet potatoes (1 medium-sized)
Meal 6:
• Lean ground beef (6 ounces) cooked with bell peppers and onions
• Gluten-free pasta (made from rice, corn, or quinoa) with marinara sauce
• Steamed asparagus (1 cup)
Meal 7:
• Dairy-free yogurt (1 cup) with sliced berries
• Mixed greens salad with a drizzle of olive oil and balsamic vinegar

Here are my questions:

How would you rate the accuracy and efficacy of this meal prep recommendation?

What are your goals? Are you cutting, bulking or trying to stick to maintanance?
How often are you training? Are yoh incorporating cardio? Do you track steps daily? Without knowing how active you are and looking at your daily output its hard to say what macros you should be consuming.
Really the bulk of your carbs should be around your training window so the pre workout meal isn't great. Also I would swap your meals 5 and 6 around as you want minimal fat post workout as salmon is higher in fats. The pre and postworkout nutrition you want to utilise the carbs so the added fats in the salmon will slow down the absorption rate post workout. A simple chicken and rice meal or chicken and rice cakes for meal 5 pre workout with a minimum of 60g-80gcarbs Will be fine. I normally like around 100g carbs post workout to replenish glycogen stores.
This is my current diet as an example

3400 cals (I'm currently rebounding out of a diet phase before going full off season) I have also tapered up to this.
300p 380c 75f
5 cranks pink salt with every meal
Meal 1
100g oats, 2 scoops whey, 30g granola sprinkled over the top

Meal 2
10 rice cakes, 200g salmon

Meal 3 (pre workout)
250g cooked jasmine or sticky rice, 200g chicken breast

Intra- 25g cyclic dextrin 10g eaas, 5 cranks pink salt, 5g creatine

Meal 4
500g white potatoe seasoned with garlic and smoked paprika and air fried, 250g venison, 50g peppers, 100g lettuce

Meal 5
100g oats, 2 scoops of whey, 20g natural, peanut drizzle, 25g granola

Excellent tip about swapping meals 5 and 6! My goal is to build muscle mass as clean as possible.

I do 2.5 hours of cardio per week however I do not track steps daily. I lift weights 5 or 6 times per week depending if I need the rest. I'm on light trt dose (120mg/week) never cycled or attempted my first blast.

I want to dial in the diet, identify and work on training week points, reach plateaus and my genetic potential, and THAN I'm gonna blast

I would say ChatGPT has never tasted dairy-free Greek yogurt.

I would also suggest using Spaghetti squash as a pasta substitute and not the Gluten-free pasta it recommends.

So I actually told ChatGPT to eliminate gluten and tree nuts. I guess it also removed dairy as a bonus lmao... but I hate gluten free pasta I think spaghetti squash pasta is an awesome suggestion, thanks Greg.

Dang! So actually I am 184lbs at 14% and 6' tall (as you can see in my profile picture) Is this too much food? I used the macro-nutrient calculator on bodybuilding .com to come up with the calories, proteins, carbs, and fats. Goal is to gain muscle mass.
