+ 3 How do you cook your beef/steak
ad
First meal today is this beautiful steak. I do steak everyday so ive gotten kinda lazy in my cooking, so now i just cook it in the oven at 220 degrees for maybe 40 minutes, its super easy and keeps it from being to dry or chewy. no matter what even at medium rare my steaks come out too tough when i cook in a skillet idk what im doing wrong. but what do you guys do?

Ive done almost this exact method before and its like eating a sneaker. idk what I'm a doing wrong because this is the way everyone will say is best. Im actually a good cook too I swear lol. I must be getting the tempature wrong, too high or too low idk
Only way to cook a steak is on the barbi. Not the gas one, real charcoal. Rub some olive oil on and season it then sear both sides for 2min each then close top and go 6 minutes more at 350 deg. Med-rare and juicy.
I don't have a grill, I'm in an apartment so it would kind of be a pain in the ass to have one but I might end up getting one anyways. And I do steak everyday so getting that charcoal lit would suck every single day. Maybe on weekends or something I could grill and then during the week I can do it my ghetto way in the oven lol
With a charcoal chimney your charcoal is ready in 10 minutes with no need for charcoal fluid. Get a little ceramic Akorn grill. Easy to tote around.
Ill have to check that out, thanks man. My place is a brand new development so they have a ton of rules and the office lady is a nazi always sending out emails about stuff on people's decks and shit, were not supposed to have anything on your deck besides like patio furniture, but then there's no other type of like outdoor type storage so they expect you to keep shit like kids bikes, tools, and grills just in your living room or some shit. and of course, she lives in my building, so she'll be thrilled to have my clouds of nice smokey meat smell filling her place lol.
Grill her a nice steak and she might become your best buddy
Steak in oven??
I prefer mine thrown on the grill....a skillet works for when the weather is bad and grilling becomes a issue ...but never the oven for me personally. To each his own though
30 below and snowing and blowing I am still out there grilling and don't have to worry about your beer getting warm either.
I dont believe you drink beer with a shape like yours hahaha
it is a sin to eat a good steak without a good beer. I brew my own beer and have a nine tap kegerator in the mancave which has 2 Nitro taps for good stouts. I also distill my own flavored gasoline. Just have to count it towards your cals/macros
Nice enjoy your beers im not really a fan of alcohol
and i live in the biggest beer country of the world
Hell yeah lmao
I know it sounds crazy lol. but it comes out so good but it has to be on low heat. I love steak and its actually getting cheaper than chicken right now if you find good deals but I always fucked up the cooking so I started trying different methods and so far this has been best for me.
