Will telling your doc you had a test shot get you in trouble?

HIPPA (client confidentiality) means nothing as they make you sign that your know your info is confidential like 50 times, and then you find out there's list of agencies they share/may share your information with + if there a court order. I guess they repeat it's confidential so you'd open up more about you steroid, drug usage... This is why people don't trust docs and medical institutions, rightfully so.
I told my doc I had a test shot which hurt for a week and is getting better, he had bitchy reaction to it. I asked him to keep it verbatim, he put it on the file after I left the office.
Will this get me in trouble?

This is why I am glad that I can use the VA for blood work and other things and my regular insurance and doctor for other things.
Ms WorkerBeeIt does not matter if you pay by cash or use insurance. You are still in the record book. They got that doctor shopping all taken care of a long time ago. If you get away with multiple scripts then you are setting yourself up. This is not Chris Angel.. I am freaked out about this too since my profession works with patients and is in healthcare, so I am under the impression some asshole dr. could potentially report me and say I am a possible danger to my patients because of steroid use, what a hypocrisy this is, when recreational "get HIGH" out of their mind users are not allowed to be persecuted.
I would think most doctors and nurse can tell right away so i admit to nothing. One doctor i saw i said i have no idea how this big red warm lump happened on my butt cheek. Dr rolled his eyes….
Only in a life changing event would I tell my doctor if anything that I do to self medicate myself. Their ED pills are expensive I choose to buy my own, actually all their prescriptions are expensive, I choose to buy my own besides things like antibiotics but my trt and ed I self medicate and never ask the doctor again....as I was once told by my doc that you cant trust buying ED pills on the internet. Actually that was true because I have purchased ED pills that offered no gains but since have found many reliable sources....
AnonThe doctor can not contact law enforcement to tell them you admitted to using illegal drugs. If you told your doctor you are thinking about harming or are going to harm yourself or someone else, the doctor can report that to law enforcement.
If you get wheeled into the ER after a car wreck and they draw blood and find drugs or alcohol they will hand that bloodwork to law enforcement every time. Doesn't matter who was at fault in the wreck, if drugs or alcohol were in your blood you better lawyer up good.
It depends on the case. In your case no the doctor can not legally contact law enforcement.
Edit: I am speaking of laws in the US. I don't know how these things work outside the US.

Molinin302Any usage of a controlled substance without a prescription is considered abuse. That's the terminology, take some antibiotics you got from a friend because you have streptococcus, in your throat. Tell your doc you did that. Been there, done that. Frankly I'd do it again, but there's risks. Controlled substances/prescription medications are exactly that. Best wishes buddy
