MARTIN COUNTY — A woman identified as a professional fitness figure and “digital influencer” from Canada was arrested after sheriff’s officials reported linking her to a package from Canada with several anabolic steroid type medications, according to recently-released records.
Melissa Kate Bumstead, 30, was arrested Friday after Martin County Sheriff’s Office investigators said she was listed as an “importer” of the drugs from a shipper in Montreal, Quebec. She was arrested on six felony counts of possession of controlled substance without a prescription.

I just read that article bro! That's terrible news, but why the hell would you risk your career/others just cause you want to use Canadian gear you left home??
Especially when Canadian customs are so strict with Gear getting through - I use to watch Canadian Border Force all the time on TV and they catch a LOT!!
I literally can't even bring a sack of potatoes or onions across the border. They search everything. I have seen people at the border with their cars completely disassembled with parts scattered everywhere. I am sure they must look through every package that crosses the border too.

It was shipped from Canada either her source or gear they had stashed there since they live/are from Canada. But with them training for the Olympia/they're living in FL and the package got search in customs into the US. Very poor move
OMG....Prep over with....I can just imagine the sleepless nights, crying, saying Y Y Y.....A simple mistake can cost you your peace of mind....I'm hoping for her that it can be viewed just as personal use, I mean let's keep our fingers crossed for everyone involved...I've always thought well at least hoped.that a small order would just be a fine but nonetheless these are controlled substances...I'm going to pray for her, I dont do that for too many folks but I ask anyone out there to pray for her as well...
