Prostate...ugggg....looking for info

ad

Hello brothers...thought this was the best place to post this. I searched and found a few posts but not that much on prostate health.

I'm just looking for others with Prostate issues for experience, lessons learned, mistakes made, wins, etc. to help me and others. I've heard many say if you get it removed you won't be able to have sex again. I'd like to hear from others.

I'm 47, been running cycling (no crazy amounts) and TRT for about 8 years. Never over 1cc a week of anything, never a cycle over about a month. My TRT is around .5 cc every 5-7 days. That's enough to keep my levels pretty hight (500-900). I've done HGH off and on, never over 2 IU's a day. I have notice over the last few years at certain times I'd have to pee often and didn't feel like I was getting it all out. Blah blah blah, blood work shows a PSA of 4.7 and 4.1 then I got scoped and Urologist said my Prostate is enlarged. My dad (has passed) had issues but never heard the word cancer and that wasn't what got him at 75 years old. I'm very active, I also ride bikes often, so we are going to keep monitoring it and haven't made it to the biopsy step yet looking for cancer.

Thanks to any info. I'm seeing a Urologist and have an appoint for a second opinion just to ensure I'm getting decent info.

It's a scary thing bro, been there, except my numbers were north of yours by about 1000. After 50-100 you can rest assured it's cancer. At 4.1, you're probably looking at some benign prostate enlargement, believe it or not, CIALIS can help with BPE. Try running it at 5mg a day just for health purposes, of course, discuss this with a Dr first but it is an FDA approved treatment.
You might also want to consider spacing out your inj protocol or even reducing it. I run .13iu eod, I use a slin, do sub q and low IM. Less fluctuation in levels, less estrogen conversion.

I deal with the same rollercoaster and have found that HGH drives my number up. I get mine tested every 6 months now.

Quick update. I took off 5 days from riding my bike motorcycle, and no sex and my PSA almost dropped in half. Just sharing because I didn't realize all that had so much of an effect. Dr said we'll see you in 6 months. Hope someone finds this useful.

I could handle no sex for 5 days but not hopping on my Hog and going for a ride is a whole other story.

My prostate blows up when my estrogen gets high. I recently made the (bad) decision to try running my 250 mg cruise dose of test without an ai. After two weeks my prostate was in awful shape. I got back on arimidex, and it was back dow to its usual size in about a week.

What about your E2 level ? In the book ' testosterone syndrome' the author, an andrologist, thought that the culprit was mostly E2.

I've never heard of removing your nuts for prostate cancer. Interesting.

BPH runs in my family.

First thing I will say is dont get too alarmed too fast. I am similar age and I have had a roller coaster of cycle activity. BUT. I have had normal PSAs and I have had as high as ~11 (since the time Ive been monitoring it). I stayed on top of it and visited the docs throughout my time of concern, which I think was key. I did have a biopsy procedure and also everything that makes you feel violated in the worst way. However, I am pleased to report that over time and with implementing better choices, my PSA, at 48, are normal (between 1 and 1.5). FYI, You can get slightly elevated PSA from a lot of factors, including having sex or masturbating the day before your PSA test.

Thanks. What do you think drove yours up so high and what to make it lower? Yeah, I've heard about the biopsy procedure, at this point in my life I don't even care about crap like that, lol. The urologist has already went through the front which I was worried about and besides being weird as shit, wasn't that bad. Dr was trying to talk to me and let me look at the screen and I finally said, can we just discuss this after the procedure.

Like anything, I'll stay deligent and not ignore it but I like your advice to don't get too worried. I just wish this would have started in my sixties instead of late 40's.

No real clue on what drove it up. I truly wish I knew because I was freaked the fuck out. Just keep looking at it is the best advice

I hear you and agree. Everything I’ve read makes me think PSA is still kind of an unknown area in slot of ways.
