Lump in glute - Been over a month.. to drain or not to drain ? Eek
Hey Guys
Experienced cycle’r here .. never had a lump last this long ..
I ran 2.5mls of some old gear . Now I’ve had a lump in my glute about the size of a golf ball or so, it’s going on over a month and a half now, nothings is red , doesn’t itch . Can’t tell from looking at it from the outside really , it’s just sore to the touch and annoying.
It’s not getting any better or worse
I tried taking some antibiotics with no luck “erythromycin” is It equal to amoxicillin? I don’t have medical so I’m trying to put off going to a doc and nothing has gotten worse, no fever etc
I’ve read some posts that say to just use a 18g pin and drain
Anyone with personal experience care to comment? Appreciate it ..
I would of logged into one of my older anabolic forums to ask but apparently they’re all long shut down :( anaboholics etc lol

Hey guys .. :update:
So with me not F’n with it “attempting to drain” was the right thing to do .!
About 4 days before my amox showed up last week it started getting red and surfacing some
I’ve run the amox for about 3-4 days now and it’s almost completely gone ! “Thank F’n god”
Anyways i wanted to share my experience for anyone that may happen to search this topic
I highly suggest everyone keep a bottle or two of amox around at all times .. I found mine without a prescrip online for fairly cheap like $18 shipped .. simply do a search for fish mox 500mg and you’ll find plenty of places to get it

I read your original post and the next day I get a damn lump. I'm like WTF are the odds? So how did you dose it? I see fish mox being readily sold online.
If it doesn’t go away in 3-4 days
I’d take 1000mg of amox the first dose then 1 morning and 1 at night for 5-6 days
I’m obviously not a doctor So do so at your own risk

Well I did exactly what you said and it worked perfectly for me. The lump is completely gone.
What you have is most likely a cyst. I had one on my delt about the size of a golf ball after an injection. I treated with natural home remedies and it went away completely.
Take a cotton ball and soak with Witch Hazel. Rub it over the cyst. Let it dry completely. Then add 3 drops of tea tree oil to 1/2 ounce of colloidal silver water and 1/2 ounce of apple cider vineger. Apply to the affected area with a cotton ball. Do this several times a day. I would also drink colloidal silver water at 1tsp 7x times a day.
The cyst went away in several days and never returned
Go in and get it checked out by a doc. Something isn't right if you have had a lump for that long and get a doc to take care of it before something worse happens.
I would try a heating pad. I have had some good size lumps before. Not as big as yours. I slept on the heating pad. It helped me.
Doea it have a small white head on it if so pop that fucker and start squeezing it or the doc will have to cut it open costing more money but you should go.to a walk in clinic and get some penicillin

Get bactroban or doxycycline. Both work great for infections...if it’s actually an infection. I just blasted some 600mg/cc gear and had a knot that lasted a few days.
After searching for the last few days, I ordered bactrim and amox yesterday .. I’ll report results
Molinin302Amoxicillin is a synthesized penicillin, great for strep throat, bacterial infections, chlamydia, you the the idea. Erythromycin is more of a disinfectant type of medication. Simplest way I can explain. Think bacteriostatic water or topical solutions. It absolutely has other uses, but in this situation you would benefit much more from amoxicillin. I used the word "would" because it doesn't sound like infection is what you're up against. Golf ball sized lump from 2.5ml of old oil, not painful to touch, no rash, no fever or respiratory symptoms? You've got a congealed ball of oil in your body. I'm not a physician so I can't tell you what to do, but don't do home surgery on this one. A mass like that won't "drain". Will probably need to be excised at this point after a month with no changes. Or name it and come up with a cool story about how your body absorbed your twin in the womb. But no, no home fix. I had a ingrown hair on my ass that got crazy infected I had to squeeze out puss day after day it hurt so fucking bad I went to the walk in clinic was prescribed amoxicillin and thing healed up in 2 days

good info on the wrong antibiotic, maybe i will find some amoxicillin this week and maybe give it a last resort whirl .. ?
it is slightly painful to press on and it’s slightly bigger than a golf ball, it feels shallow under the skin .. not deep muscle tissue ..
Ugh so Should I not probably just monitor it with amoxicillin or would someone smarter just go straight to the doc ? I’m not looking forward to this ha .

Molinin302Its on you, without health coverage trying amoxicillin certainly will not hurt as long as you have no allergies. But my recommendation if you can pull a few bucks together is to see a physician. Walk in clinic even, and whatever you do, don't lie to the guy lol. One question though, we know the volume, but what was the product and needle length? Upper outer glute? (No brand name or src, just product used)

The knot seems really close to the surface but still no visual signs from looking at it besides a knot.. it feels exactly like a bruise
I guess I’ll try the bactrim and amox before going into a express doc in a box for a exam. Should I run the two antibiotics at once or just go with the bactrim solo? I’ve read it’s the best for situations like this ..
A buddy of mine said he has had a similar situation like mine in the past and antibiotics cleared t right up in 4-5 days ..
So I guess that’s the plan as long as it remains the same, no fever, not itchy .. it’s not getting any worse or better .. but anyways I appreciate the feedback and I’ll keep you all

Molinin302One antibiotic at a time. "If it was me" I'd take amoxicillin. 800mg first day, 500mg for 6. Increase your fluids. Eat clean and urinate as much as possible. See a doc if still there after that time frame. If you're a healthy person, sooner rather than later your body is going to release a lot of white blood cells to deal with this. You probably don't want that. Best wishes buddy.

Yeah I’m healthy and mobile on my feet all day, rarely get sick or need to put a band aid on anything
so this is a first for me after many many years .lol I guess it was bound to happen one day sooner or later . I’ll try the amox first
