Needle size for IM injection

What is the best needle length and gauge for an IM injection into the deltoid? I've found mixed information across these forums and on other webpages. I purchased 1cc 30gauge 1/2" needles and I'm questioning whether or not they will be long enough. Most medical websites mention 1"-1.5" for IM injections.

I believe the hgh shots are injected at an angle in order to truly be subQ versus fat or im if you're very lean. Interested in this as well as I. Considering hrt with my physician. That is how he explained it to me. Insulin syringe 30 gauge .5in

1/2" is fine in the delt in most cases. I like 1.5" for glute
29 to 31 doesnt matter just need 1\2" and not be completely obese
I have to use 1 or 1 1/2 inch my muscle are too thick for that short.
I guess your f'ing around cause you make absolutely no sense ... But maybe you should use 2" 18ga make sure you get it in there through all that muscle why take any chances

For hgh though ..i mean its not like roids where you need it deep in the muscle belly you just need to get past the fat and on delts and arms is a great place to pin hgh im...for roids i absolutely agree
I like also IM and use U-100 29G X 1/2. For me it is the best.

Do you use delts? What have you found to be the best injection site for IM?
My favorite spot is „M. vastus lateralis“.
I know the site is not so famous but for me it is the best, no pain or any other problems.
How many cc do you use. I worked my way up to
1cc in each pec. Easy peasey for oils. Ive never shot hgh im only sub q tho
Pec is my favourite. 27g but I’ve only managed .5ml. I my try .75ml next blast.
I used 1cc/1ml of bacteriostatic water inside a 14iu vial of HGH and I dosed just under 3iu/.2cc today.
AnonI have not heard IM is better than sub-q for HGH. Did you find some research that says IM is better?
I've read that IM gets HGH into your blood faster and therefore spikes IGF 1 levels higher than it would if injected sub-q. The only reason I'm going IM is because I've been reading reviews of the HGH I purchased and lots of forum posts regarding the source and they all suggest that IM is much more likely to not cause pip while some users have mentioned pip incidents when injecting it sub-q.
AnonRegarding IM injection getting HGH into your blood faster, that is new and interesting info to me, I have not researched IM vs sub-q for HGH before. It's good you're doing research brother. I have experienced some very minor pip from sub-q in the belly fat with peptides and HGH, but it always went away within a day and was easily tolerable.
I've spent quite some time researching, and there seems to be lots of differing opinions regarding HGH usage and methods. I'm not using pharma so there can be certain fillers or proteins in the China made HGH that can cause pip, but it seems that going IM lessens the chance that it will occur. Rather than even chance it, I'd rather just shoot into the delts -- makes no difference to me really.
Getting an IGF-1 test tomorrow morning and then will attempt my 1st injection IM via delts.

HGH is a water shot so you can use skin pins as discussed below. However, I find it best to inject into the fatty areas around the midsection. No need for delt shots.
Thank you for the input, it's much appreciated. The HGH I purchased has been reported to give some pip when injecting sub-q, but is said to give much cleaner results via IM. If anyone has a different experience or advice, send it my way. I'm brand new to all of this.
eddoAre you talking about water based HGH injected IM into delt? If so yes a standard slin pin will be fine, just push it in deep against your skin.
If your talking about oil based IM jabs I’ve used 1inch orange 25g with no issues at all.
In fact I only use these now to be honest.
I used to use the blue 1.25 inch 23g I think they are as they are the standard internet advice but I find the smaller oranges easier and slightly less scar tissue build up.
If you are lean and shooting sites like delt, tris, chest etc. You can use a standard 30g slin pin.
You have to back fill it to get the oil in and it takes a bit of pushing to get it to flow through the needle but warming it helps.
Just make sure you hilt it in (press it deep against your skin to ensure you get an IM oil injection not subq by mistake)

Yes I'm talking about an HGH injection using bacteriostatic water into the delt. It sounds like my 30g 1/2" needles will work out just fine. Thank you for the confirmation.
