Four unconfirmed cases in NY, I have a friend in Hubei province, and they all say that we don't realize how critical the situation is Who knows what the real mortality rate is... They all say 5% but that's only based upon "reported data" with over 100k infected that’s 5000k dead.
China can't control the information leaking, and the world deserves to know everything so that we can stop / take precautions against the disease. Takes 14 days to show symptoms, It’s Contagious as hell too, if you have it, you will infect 14 people knowledge is power, and so I'd like to bring this towards everyone's attention here.

So far a little over 3000 people have died in china from the virus , Now lets take into account the population density of china. Nearly 2-billion people living in cities along its east coast , very few people live in rural china. So the virus has spread through most of China at this point , its killed 3000 and around 4000 critical so lets say when its all said and done 7500 Chinese citizens may very well die.
The total population of the earth is just under 8-billion , so for every 2 billion people lets say 7,000 may die since that is roughly what is going on in China. Once this virus runs its course we are looking at around 28,000 to 30,000 people dead from Covid-19.
Its basically the Flu, and the people are acting insane because of media induced panic. I'm telling you this whole thing is manufactured and the powers that be are testing the waters to see just how much they can get away with in a crisis . Not unlike what happen during September - 11- 2001. Just turn your televisions off and stay off social media , we are going to be fine at the very worst you get a fever and life sucks for a week or two.
Let's forget the fact that numbers from China can't be trusted and that they used the military to aggressively quarantine, control, and contain their population. Had they known what they were dealing with sooner, and responded sooner, this would never have gotten out to become our new reality.
Imagine if they did nothing. You're basically proving the point that containment was the right call.
Doing nothing, with no treatment or vaccine, with 8 billion infected, would result in 160 million potentially dead. (20 NYC's or 50% of the US)
If the flu was unabated (no treatment or vaccine) with 8 billion infected, there would be potentially 4 million dead. ( one half of NYC)
The purpose of the restrictions isn't to stop the virus, it's to slow it down so we don't see a spike that overwhelms our hospitals to where normal emergency care comes to a halt as well.
In China the military built hundreds of makeshift hospitals practically overnight... some of which collapsed resulting in more (uncounted) deaths. If I die in the hallway of a hospital waiting for care from an auto accident because of the virus, that too wouldn't be counted.

And it will get worse, is always the same, and the answer is simple, if you do not want the disease to expand to your country ... close the airports to any citizen that comes from the country of origin, why the goverments wont do it? because they want to be politically correct and give the feeling that they have a higher morale and only prevent people from showing symptoms which is useless.
The worst thing is that many of these pandemics develop in China because of their eating habits,they tend to eat wild animals that can carry viruses that we are not accustomed to, and above all if these animals (as it has been in this case) eat others Animals the virus mutates.
