+ 1 Tattoos and competing in bodybuilding shows

ad

Guys I’m thinking of competing again. Only thing is I have got a full sleeve on my left arm. I know pro tan and other companies make tattoo products that supposedly cover it. What’s y’all ideas on it? Would it ruin my chances of winning? Or has anyone on here competed in bodybuilding with tattoo and done well? There is a 212 guy “Aaron Polatis” that has full left arm and chest piece that seems to cover his well? Thanks for any insight!

Tattoos are becoming more and more prevalent in bodybuilding. I don't honestly think it will hurt you.

Lee Priest did a good job covering up in his last show. 2013 Nabba Universe for an easy 50k in winnings.

By the time you get 3 coats of tan you will be good. Tattoo coverups are usually thick and can take away from muscle detail

I’m just worried if it will throw off my look a lot on front and rear poses. I’m probably just over reacting it this is my 19 year return and I’m a perfectionist.. I only lost one show out of like 10 when I stopped

Does it matter if the tats are pretty dark? I have a full arm sleeve he went pretty dark in places

I missed this my bad...being the best package you can...I don’t think tattoos are going to be the make it break

If the tattoo is done well and not to loud it should be fine. On the other hand if it jumps out and takes away from your physique it could be a problem.

Lots of people have tattoos in the sport now and days. I friend of mines just turned pro last night and has I lot of tattoos. You will be fine.

Thanks man.. I hope so. I’m making a 18 year comeback . I didn’t think I was gonna compete again so I got the full arm sleeve. But I been researching and they have some pretty good tattoo cover up make up these days I see..

First off Congrats man on making the decision to make a comeback. I'm sure during the break there's been a part of you that missed it,lol. I see alot of tatts nowadays on the stage and a majority are winners. I'm a... was a big belly powerlifter but over the last 6 months life has kicked my ass and I lost 40lbs (got down to 184lbs) which is eating me up inside but... now I am a lean 198lbs with veins, abs and muscles that pop. It's crazy because I've built my strength back to match when I was 228lbs and look pretty good for a old man. Long story short I am considering competing in bodybuilding next year but have full sleeves, back tats, neck tats, calf tats so I'm intrigued by your post. Whatever you decide do your best and kick ass!!!

Its just imortant that u find somebody who helps u to cover it right, too much tan can can make you look asymmetrically.

Do those tanning injections work well in general mate? Its something I've never tried before, use to hammer the sunbeds back in the day lol

stairmaster's picture

Yes bud , but the color from MT2 looks different and not as good as real tan from the sun or sunbed, but I like MT2 escpecially cause it helps me during Deca cycles lol ;)

Anywhere you say? So if you were to continually inject it into, I dunno, let’s say your dick, it would get really dark? Asking for a friend, no homo.

This has never happened to me nor have I heard of this and I researched mt2 extensively before I started using it nearly 10 years ago.

The only darkening at injection site I've experienced is brusing.
Edit..
I see that's what your talking about. Seems that batch that did it also made me very nauseous too. Think it was over dosed.

Nice upload mate. You confused me with your terminology as I read it as you stated the bruising was a side that most people who used mt2 got.
