Prop for TRT?

ad

Hey everyone,

So I’ve been wondering, how does prop do for TRT?
Obviously the frequency of injections isn’t desirable for long term, at least not IM. I was thinking daily or eod subq injections. I wasn’t sure if anyone else had tried this before and what their experiences were. Also the differences in ester weight would need to be taken into account to adjust the correct mg dosage. This would be a TRT dosage and not a cruise or blast.

This is something I’m currently looking into and thinking of trying after my next bloods get drawn. Haven’t drawn up a dosing plan yet, but 100% will be getting bloods and doing a write up if I end up doing it. Would most likely try it out it for 2-3 months.

Can’t wait to hear your input, good and bad. Also, nothing wrong with my current TRT regimen, just a curious guy.

I'm new here, but will throw in my .02 anyway. I love prop and use it for TRT most of the time. Yes, the pinning gets old, but the effects are worth it for me. While I know "test is test" in the basic scheme of things, I get far less water retention than with Test C or Test E personally. Also, I find that if I run it at 100 - 150 mg EOD, I also get better vascularity than on the other esters.

100-150mg EOD is not TRT, or cruising for that matter. That’s a cycle sir

How do your bloods on that level compare to your test c TRT dose?

Lucha333's picture

They are higher levels for test and free test. But then again, when I was on C, I was just doing 250mg per week cruising. The only surprising thing is that even with higher T, my RBC did not go up like I expected. Still, I drop a pint every couple months, just to keep it closer to "normal".

GreatSpear's picture

Yeah I suppose that’s to be expected when your taking 350-500mg per week of prop.

Speaking of donating, have you checked out this post yet? https://www.eroids.com/forum/general/general-talk/to-give-blood-or-not-t...

Good read! Thanks for pointing me to it.

Test Prop has a half life of 4 days, so you could pin every second day, using a Slin needle SQ - can't see any problem at all. I'm using Test E with Slin needle SQ PD. The only problem I have found is that sometimes I hit a small blood vessel, and being on blood thinners, it swells up for a few days, bruises and then disappears. Still prefer that to having huge lumps of scar issue all over my arse and my thighs.

You could use it if you can tolerate small amounts injected daily.

In a comment below you say your trt is prescribed .
Are they giving you your blood work also? If you are pinning prop every day your test levels won't be what they are supposed to be on cypionat. Seems like your looking to get caught and loose your script.

GreatSpear's picture

Yes I do regular bloodwork 3-4 times a year with my TRT, if I did try it out it would be done in between appointments with my own bloodwork done to check the effects of it. Since I schedule my appointments I would have plenty of time to get back on normal TRT before my next visit.

Thank you for your input.

Adjusting the prop dose for ester weight, would my levels not be similar to that of cyp?

Bill G's picture

Problem with getting the "same level " on blood work is blood pulled on prop will only reflect the dose for the last day or 2. Problem I see frequently is on 500 test C or E will give a test of say 3500 ng/dl. So people automatically think thier prop is bunk or under dosed because thier results with the same amount (500mg a week) will only show 1200 to 1500. Because the first 3 days will already be out of the system. So my query to this experiment is I don't think there will be an answer to apples and oranges.

Ah I see, thanks for elaborating on it!

Daily ouch forever?! Fuuuuuck that

Test P for TRT should be used never.

Ozninjaguy's picture

Why? Medical/scientific explanation to support your assertion?

It's a great feeling Bass, totally different to what you've felt before with cyp etc but it does get tedious pinning it frequently after a while. It can be quite up and down also in how it makes you feel mentally and physically ...

Instead of waiting to hear what he does, go ahead and try it yourself? Than you have first hand knowledge!

johnmarshall12's picture

Forget it! Prop sucks for TRT; and Sub-Q injections with oil really suck!

wanted's picture

Have you ever injected prop into your stomach lol just to try it

IrishMack's picture

Give it a try. I can guarantee you after 4 months of constant pinning, forgetting the last place you pinned, crunching sounds injecting and taking forever to pin, you will give up and go back to weekly.

press1's picture

I've seen a few guys do this and like it, if you inject it just before you go to bed it means when you get up it is just working its way into your system and feels like a normal testosterone rise that you would usually get in the morning if you were still natty.

GreatSpear's picture

Interesting, I hadn’t thought of that angle. Thank you for your input

Prop not ideal for Trt
Why not cypionate or enanthate

GreatSpear's picture

I am prescribed and currently take cypionate, I was just curious if using a short ester testosterone gave different results.

Monsta03z's picture

I prefer short esters on a blast but the frequent pins sucks at times. Hormones levels are easier to control on long esters
Hormone levels can be up and down with short esters

Got it, thanks.
