Mr.O update Ramy out & Rhoden looking aweful.
Dave Palumbo just announced that Big Ramy is shut down for the year & is officially out of the O as he is currently recovering from shoulder surgery.
Phil Heath reportedly still mulling returning the O this year although no confirmation has been made. Kai offered a special invite but likely will not compete as he has not in years.
Then we come to the famed guest posing at The Pittsburgh Pro where several top Olympia competitors including Mr. O himself graced the stage for a look at their offseason physiques.
Curry looking bigger than he ever has. Dexter looking solid as he starts his quest for win #30 upcoming at the Tampa Pro. Roelly looking big as a house right down to still sporting a bubble gut.
Bonac looking in solid offseason form being a touch deflated but still solidly conditioned.
Then comes the embarrassment that is the current Mr. Olympia Shawn Rhoden's performance. Granted it is the offseason , I will preface but has it looked as though Rhoden has touched a single weight since winning the title? Rhoden's upper body was completely atrophied. Rhoden's arms already being a weak point are now totally deflated more reminiscent of piper cleaners than actual Pipes. Tack on top of the sheer lack of muscle tons of water , bloat, and fat. Granted again it is the offseason but it is my personal opinion that Rhoden was embarrassing regardless let alone as the ambassador of the entire sport.

One thing is for certain. The 2019 Mr. Olympia contest is wide open for the taking.

Maybe hes letting his receptors clear out real good and blast up to the mr O. The way roelly had previously shrunk his bubble bubblebtroublegut was nothing short of amazing. He accredited it to a waist trainer. Ibalso wonder if he cut back the insulin? Or certain foods
Achilles412Rhoden always gets fat in the off season. And comes in amazingly conditioned. This isn’t new. He’ll be fine he is smart for coming off during the off season . Rolly is massive but He’s the one that conditioning needs to be questioned. Kai won’t compete which sucks because he’s fantastic. Heath hasn’t been on point for a while. My opinion and hope is someone new makes a move this year. But dexter winning would be great
That Roelly guy is HUGE - makes the others look small. There must be some serious upkeep and eating going on to maintain all that...

I'd love to see Dexter win it.
Dex decided to up the size ante this year and is going wipe the floor clean at the upcoming Tampa Pro for his astonishing 30th victory. If he is able to build enough momentum and of course hold his blade conditioning to the Mr. O he will a very very tough competitor to beat.

He is but he seems to maintain it pretty well.

Yeah seen this too, might be time for Curry or Bonac to win this title finally. Maybe Roally has a chance as well but will have to be i the best shape ever that is a struggle for him.
Then again there was Kevin who was growing in to the show, looked like a normal human off season so you never know is what to expect from a Shaun
Shawn did sent an apology to Jim Manion on his Instagram for his appearance. There he claimed he always is fat in the offseason as he gives himself time to go off and recover. Very true about Kevin , but Kevin is no Rhoden. Also Rhoden is in his mid 40's and as we all know the body does become fickle with age. If Roelly dials in fully and improves upon his Arnold Australia 2019 condition he will out muscle everyone.

Hopefully all the lads will show up peeled and really make it dog fight. If there was ever a year Cedric could pull it out this it is. Would love to see a stand up military serviceman win the whole thing.
