how many days off training ?

hey guys just wondering if any of you get any days off gym except holidays ? for example 1 week off every 3 months etc?I dont except holidays,I know I should cause some times even iam tired as hell I dont miss a day although that training day will probably sucks!! I still got that stupid belief that miss a day or week from gym will loose the gains lol,even its far from truth!what about you?

I started out that way, never wanting to miss a day, but I've found 1 and sometimes 2 days off really helps with wo intensity and even growth, for me. Depending on your workout you're burning alot of calories so those days off let you get more of a surplus if you're bulking and ensures those nutrients are going toward building muscle, and not just fueling the workout.

I have some friends doing like that way ,the said its working for them for bulking purposes at least ! its like dorians 2on1off or I am getting it all wrong?

That's what I'm doing is 2 intense days on and one off (a little cardio that day). I've tried 3 on and 2 off but that third day on usually isn't nearly as good as the first two days, almost seems like a waste, then for two days I'm off sucks - like you said before don't know what to do with myself, lol. So I like 2 on and 1 off for now. When i get ready to cut I'll move to 6 days a week most likely.

Rest and recovery being one of the most important parts to this life style. Second to nutrition. Id say it is very inportant to have regular off days. Do i like it? No. Does it cause the same " im gonna loose it" panic you spoke of? Yes . Is it essential to my gains yes. We cant burn our selves out but we can not fall in the trap of getting lazy.

your 100% on it buddy about rest and nutrition is important ...but we (I) need some motivation to keep me out of the gym lol its a mind bug ffs !
