so im sure most of us are used to getting compliments at the gym. idk about you guys....but when people tell me "damn bro, you have the best genetics" that is the most annoying thing in the world to me. my genetics literally suck. my dad was overweight, out of shape, and died of cancer and diabetes and my mother has never lifted anything over 12 pounds in her life. thats such a back handed compliment to me, telling me i have good genetics. and im natural right now too, i havent ran a cycle in over a year...im about to go back on soon, any week now im looking forward to it. i wonder what they will say then lol. anyone else used to getting back handed compliments?

Your dad probably didn't care much for lifting weights or living healthy and neither did your mum by the sounds of it so you'll never really know what potential their genetics had. You don't realise how good your genetics are till you meet someone who is giving it 200% more than you are and making 50% of what gains you are.
Admittedly it's taking away the credit from your hard work but be thankful for your 'good genetics', I know a bro who lives the life style and looks fantastic but if he takes even a week off from his diet or routine he'll look like he's lost a stone in pure muscle.

There was no disrespect intended here. Re reading what I wrote I wouldnt of written about his father not living healthy and rewritten had a muscle building diet or something along those lines.
If you read what I wrote I was saying he probably has good genetics as people say so it was a compliment as there are many with terrible genetics.
This was my input to his thread, as well as pointing out he's definitely not natural.

But lads here is a different way to look at it... I, to this day remember being in physics class when i was a kid. Physics teacher telling us all about radiation, decay/half lives etc... he said something to the effect of; lads, you are standing beside a concrete wall that is right now emitting enough radiation to cause cancer in the next X amount of years.
Point being... not knowing the mans situation, could be anything, but genetics is probably a very poor thing to blame, even by OP
The whole genetics conversation is a load of nonsense and a sad excuse from the commentator for not building enough muscle or burning enough fat, to look as good as the OP probably does

I didn’t say it was becoming a nuisance I was just making conversation I thought it would be a good topic. But I work in a gym so maybe I do get it more than some people since I am there so often but like I said a week ago when I posted that picture it was literally the only one on my laptop, I only posted it when I was trying out the different features of the site to get aquainted with everything.
