+ 4 Metformin and HGH
I have been taking Metformin for over a decade. So I have been experimenting with what works and what doesn’t work as far as controlling my A1C which is the measurement you should be more worried about. It takes 90 days to change this number unless you’re willing to do some hard core cardio. For most B.B. it can be counter productive to go hard core on cardio.
When you get your numbers out of wack you will get more body fat because your body will start horde your extra carbohydrates and turn it into fat. Trust me I can prove it with my lab work. For me to start love sing fat I have to get my A1C number below 5.7 remember it takes me 90 days to do it without cardio and about 6 weeks with cardio. Testing you blood with a meter can be helpful but the real indication is your A1C you can’t cheat that number that’s why the Doctor prefers to see it in your labs.
If you want to keep you levels close to normal on HGH you can do it without medication but you won’t like the answer less carbohydrates that’s right I have to reduce my intake 50% and it sucks. If you have a meter it is much easier to monitor. Try to keep your spikes under 150 I do it with food. Stay away from Pizza, Pasta and anything with sugar and your levels will be good. If you want something sweet eat some fruit instead of a giant bowl of ice cream.
If your just cycling HGH and your not diabetic I wouldn’t even worry about your A1C if you stay away from simple carbohydrates on your cycles. But if you gain body fat quickly you better watch your sugar consumption because your probably already on the edge.
High blood sugar will also stifle your muscle gains so I’m my opinion you should make sure you keep it in check even if your not diabetic. There are a lot of bros on here who do it right. Listen, and learn from them they know their stuff.

Thanks for sharing!
Thanks bro.
I have a different problem, my blood sugar level is going down very fast after each meal. Also called reactive hypoglyce. Thats why I must eat every 2hrs, especially during a cycle.
Would HGH (low dose) help me here?

Stair Do you take any of those gnc preworkouts or creatine?
Or any powder supplements? Keep some glucose tabs with you at all times and let your family know if they find you passed out they may need to give you sugar, you can dump a pack of sugar under the tongue in emergency. Be careful I had that happen to me 10 years ago from cell tech creatine
Thanks for the input bro!
No, no pre and no creatine, only powder supplement I take is glutamine and BCAAs. 2 times daily.
I have this problem since bout 20 years, it's a pancreas disease.
Yes mate, fast acting carbs always by hand!
Yep not sure, HG does have some great healing powers it could help slow it down if it is a progressive thing. It has done wonders on my joints.
Ok now I understand. Geez i don't know your age but a few units of hgh a day might help you. I have no clue scientifically but it couldn't hurt to replace with one unit a day and see. Especially if your around 40 or up. Just a idea.
Age see stats bro, 33 actually. I'd plan 2IU day.
There are plenty of people who have taken it longer than me hopefully they will pop in and discuss
Hope too I'm happy about every input and help. Maybe HGH solves my problem!
As far as risk goes, trying 2 units a day and seeing if that will increase your blood sugar makes sense. If it doesn't work ok well now you know. Then u could stop or continue. What's the worst that happens? Nothing I can think of. That's a safe experiment i would try myself because it's not detrimental to your health. Hope we get some opinions for you. Good luck stair!
Get your A1C checked it is the only way to make sure your not out of kilter.
I doubt it, In your case, I would probably eat more slowly releasing carbs like rice and beans and peas, corn. Pretty much anything I have to be careful with.
In my case HG ramped my metabolism up a little, It isn’t a fat burning magic wonder drug like seen on YouTube at a normal dose. It does give me a little boost but not enough to eat a large pizza every day. I also haven’t noticed any changes in my labs either but I eat pretty strict as far as simple carbs are concerned.
Hahahahaha
“Remember this is BroSience you got to get it checked out by a Dr to make sure”
Metformin also smashes your igf-1 so taking it with hgh is somewhat counterproductive
I disagree with you. It is the extra glucose in your blood that changes your IGF. I take 2000 mg a day brother and I have lab work to back it up. I am insulin resistant already you have to maintain your A1C for maximum benefits for sure.
Thumbs up though

And I personally have blood work that shows a big reduction in igf-1 with the use of metformin. I am not a diabetic, so maybe how metformin affects igf-1 is different for diabetics and non diabetics.
Yep probably so. I really would like to see a double blind study on a human not a cow. I have also read that IGF is just an indicator when testing your GH levels. Every one is different and it probably works different with IGF only supplementation anyway. I am definitely not the expert on it.
My whole point in the thread is to control your diet and a normal person won’t have to supplement with Metformin in the first place.
I’d like to see lots of studies on humans and not animals, but that’s inhumane haha, maybe a Tuskegee like project here and there. Jk
