Just wanted to share the awesome news we received yesterday!! As quite a few members know my 16 year old daughter (older now)was diagnosed with a rare cancerous brain tumour. After an 11 hour surgery around a year and a half ago to removed it they had to leave a small piece attached to a vessel. Cutting the vessel would’ve caused lots of motor skill issues for her. After almost 30 radiation treatment they told us it was all gone. During this time she started having bad headaches and body aches. The hospital was doing the MRI’s. She had another spot show up in 3 months that continued to grow. Dr’s would tell us it appeared to be scar tissue but they weren’t 100%. Of course this keeps a parent sick at their stomach constantly for not knowing. The wife and I had kept the faith thru all of this. It hasn’t slowed my daughter down, she won homecoming queen, received a scholarship from Alabama, and is currently going to be a biologist for fish and game. Anyways this new spot has changed shapes and continues to grow but it hasn’t slowed her down. Yesterday we go in with her to have it checked and to our surprise the DR’s came out and said the spot has shrunk double in size as to what it was. It appears to be going away. Talk about a relief and a great Christmas present.

I just wanted to thank all of you guys for the prayers and thoughts thru all of this. Prayers do work, it doesn’t matter if it’s me or a person i’ve never met behind a computer screen worlds away throwing the prayers up. I thank all of you for everything you’ve done from the bottom of my heart. Please continue to remember her in your prayers and we will do the same likewise. Thanks fellas
