I recall paying $360 a 75g bottle with insurance. My wife was like why don't you just order your stuff from "eroids" made me laugh FN hard! She gets it. gels are for people that the doctor decided that after reviewing medical charts, it was the safest route. Gels are meant to slowly increase your test levels so a patient can be monitored easily. If its too high/low they can increase/decrease easier with the gel. Plus if you read into the OP more you can see he has a serious medical issue with the loss of one of his adrenal glands. Not a very smart answer to give him without researching.

I actually was under the impression gels and creams were quite common.
The gels are like acetate, you have to take it frequently and because of that the doctors can dose you much easier. If your level is too low you can up the "pumps." If its too high the opposite. Its just like ace or prop. Although its fkn expensive and that was the only reason I was given shots when I first started.
It averages to around 3-400 a bottle and they last only a few weeks.
I seen dudes prescribed it for sure but maybe the Dr didnt know what he was doing.

ask your endo about pellets.
gel has spikes and lows daily, IM injections spike every week or so. pellets are the most level release rate over months at a time.

You have 14 karma and been a member for 5 years. If you are trying to get custies take it down before your -14 If you start juice again your levels will sky rocket and when they take blood they will know. Then cut you from your gel.

My endo Dr. is wicked cool. Looks out for my health as well as understands my goals. I did have a edranal gland removed 1 1/2 years ago and just now fully recovering. Really messed with the hormones. House I think it's straight now and yes it read like I was looking for "custies", I assure you not my intent, nor do I need them. Again the wording did imply that before I changed it within minutes of editing.
And this is why your doctor put you on the gel, you have a pretty big medical issue and the gel will allow your doctor to either increase or decrease your dose much better then a shot of test. with a shot you cant just wait a day and its lower, you have to stay high until the half life wears. You need to stick with your doctors protocol until he deems you are safe.
