I would like to share something that I keep seeing I disagree with here. So everyone I have been seeing over the years that you can cut with any compound and I will say that is bullshit... which some will disagree AND THAT IS OK TO DISAGREE...You might of leaned up a little bit from gaining muscle mass. I have tried to cut on long esters before and it just wasn't happening because of the conversion to estrogen. I held way to much water even if my levels and diet were correct. I've had friends that have been bodybuilding for 15+years hold water because they were using test E and deca to try and other things to cut. I was telling them for about 2 years they were doing it all wrong. They switched over to my coach and boom the best they have ever looked in there life's. To get the full dry effect and cutting phase comes from shorter esters period. I keep seeing you can cut with long esters and I just don't think that is really true. You won't have the dry grainy look. Yes everything comes from Diet I know this. You still hold a shit ton of water from the slightest bit of carbs.

Its diet, training regime, and ai's....regardless of ether its these things,if they arent correctbthen you still blow up like a water boy on the short ethers too.

Bro think what you like.....I've personally watched guys pro level prep with long and shorts and come in like granite. The compounds really aren't that important. Honestly the fucking drugs are the least of the equation. The food, timing , quality, portion sizes, training and cardio is what's important. The drugs mean fuck all and if they were that important youd see some of our locals here who depend on drugs to build their physiques making leaps and bounds. Whether it be leaning out , bulking up or doing a little of both , the drugs mean dick. When it comes to prep the drugs are even less important than they are for average guys one meal can fuck everything up during prep, one bottle of water, one cheat or mistake can make someone drop multiple placings and I've watched it happen to amateurs , novice and pros. An everyone is different, everyone reacts different to foods , training, drugs , rest etc etc soo blanket statements like that are ignorant.

Short esters to me have faster/higher aromatization rate....stay on top of ancillaries and it shouldn't be an issues short or long. IMO ester doesn't change conditioning only the rate the hormone becomes bioavailable. Good post though

There is no magic bullet, there is no real answer. This debate has been going on since test was 1st synthesized in the lab. I can cut on any type of esther long or short. Do I have some sort of power? Nope. I have genetics. Every human is the same but every humans genes and body composition is not. If I was to take Rich Piana's method and followed his diet, training, and drug cycle to the T along with his rest would I become as big as him? Honestly no. It's because his body composition, metabolism, genetics are not the same as mine.
If you really and truly want to know what will work for you you need to have a full DNA test done, a full blood panel. You need to look at pictures of all the men in your family tree and see their body composition.
You need to find what muscle fiber types are dominant.
the magic bullet is you.
When I was in prison 6 months prior to release I weighed 130 pounds and zero muscle. I was more then likely 10-13% BF. I started training. I ate 3 whole meals a day. I ate cookies crackers potato chips cup of soups, ramen noodles, candy, e.t.c. I rested a solid 8-10 hours a day. I had zero stress due to also having "family" inside we watched each others backs. When I walked out the door 6 months later I weighed about 185 pounds and was a brick shithouse. About 50 pounds in 6 months. 5 foot 6. Did I have a magic bullet? Nope. I had no stress, I had plenty of rest. I ate any and everything. Fuck I even did cardio.
Everyone has the potential inside of them to hit their genetic potential, but its tough with stress, every day life, job, wife or girlfriend, terrible diet. So if you take away environmental issues you have the recipe for your magic buillet.
SO back to your post, you can cut on anything. Diet, rest and exercise will completely dictate how well you do it.

^ This 100%. Nothing in this lifestyle is a one size fits all deal. Experimentation on our own bodies is the only way to learn what works.

There is a difference between a cutting diet, a water cut, and final stages prep where manipulating water and playing with carbs for fuller looks are prevalent

there are a few ways to look at it. From the perspectives of
1: The gymgoer/average joe
Just getting leaner is good enough, so compounds dont matter, it's diet and exercise here
2: The Gymrat
Again, the usual bulk cut bulk cut, would love to see my abs someday - it's all diet here, 100%
3: The highly dedicated gymnrat and novice competitors
Now we are into compounds, water cuts, and tweaking over time with cutoff points, playing with glycogen/carbs and indeed water but ester type will be down to preference, and there will be cut off points and anvilliaries for the competitors
4: The High level competitor and the pros
Different ballgame altogether here and you would see a lot of ancilliaries in play too, usually nutrition coaches to help, and re: esters well the old school pros were all longer ester users, who knows now

For 95% of people, longer acting esters are just fine and cutting means dieting and burning bodyfat

Long or short esters it don't matter. If you're trying to walk around dry and grainy @5% bf for weeks upon weeks then you're doing it wrong and will most likely crash and burn. No matter what if your lean enough you should be able to manipulate water through diet (carbs,water,sodium) at any time. There's a reason they call it peaking.

Though I do agree that androgens work far better when you're ready to dry out but it still can be done with things like npp etc...

Yes I agree with everything you say. I believe you can use NPP as well. But still I don't believe in long esters...

Some drugs are more versatile towards particular goals, but it comes down to diet, experience and tweaking things, ais etc.
Some guys never change diet and take what ever drugs they like and achieve same results, experts or experienced guys no the correct timing of everything including when and what to eat what drug to take, how much cardio and when etc etc..

+1 maybe I haven't learned to cut with longer esters. I've tried but just didn't workout to well... My version of being ripped and others are completely different though... I think of being stage ready as being ripped...

My first show in which I took the overall i used long esters right up until the tuesday before the show. All test was dropped 2 wks prior of course.

I would say you are one of the few but then again you dropped the test 2 weeks out and I'm sure crashed your estrogen.... I can run short esters up till about that Monday of the comp...

I started using 1.5 grams vitamin C split up throughout the day after reading VIKING's suggestion and, voila, I'm definitely more vascular since. GURU for good reason!
