+ 11 How I lowered bad cholesterol numbers in 42 days to great numbers.
So I was planning to start my cycle mid March and decided to get some blood work done February to make sure that I am healthy and what have you. Everything in my panel looked good till I got to the lipid section. My cholesterol were very bad to say the least. My doctor wanted to put me on statins saying that my numbers were really bad. I told her that I did not want to take statins and instead told her to give me a few months to lower the numbers myself.
At the time of that blood work I had been keto dieting for almost 3 months. my cholesterol numbers were as followed.
my numbers from 2/21/2017: total cholesterol: 277, triglycerides: 98, HDL: 48, LDL 209
cholesterol ratio: 5.8 (which is hight) range: <or= 5.0
my doctor wanted to put me on statins, I told her to give me a few months to get that number down
42 days later
my numbers from 4/4/2017: total cholesterol: 187, triglycerides: 52, HDL: 55, LDL 122
cholesterol ratio: 3.4 (which is ideal) range: <or= 5.0

But pharmabruh, how did you go about lowering your cholesterol numbers?
The first thing I did was to pick up some vital supplements that have studies backing their positive effect on cholesterol.
thess are the supplements I bought for my cholesterol reducing cycle
Niacin flush 500 mgs per tablet. ( DO NOT GET THE "FLUSH FREE" NIACIN!)
Red yeast rice 600 mgs per capsule.
Omega 3 1000 mgs per capsule.
multi-vitamins
Garlic extract 100 mgs per capsule.
Soluble fiber supplement.
But pharmabruh, what were your dosages for these supplements??
The personal dosages I took of each supplement are as followed:
Niacin at 1000 mgs a day
Red Yeast rice at 1200 mgs a day
Omega 3 at 3000 mgs a day
1 multi-vitamin every morning
Garlic extract at 200 mgs a day
soluble fiber at 10 grams a day
So pharmabruh, you're telling me that if I take this without any dietary changes I am still going to lower my cholesterol?
No, I personally decided to make a few changes to my diet to improve the effects of these supplement in a more positive way.
what changes did you make to your diet, phramabruh??
Before, I was eating a diet that was very hight in animal fat. For example, I was eating a lot of ground beef that was 89% lean, I was eating about 10 whole eggs a day, I was not eating healthy fats, I was not consuming enough soluble fiber.
I decided to eat only egg whites, the leanest ground beef i could find, chicken breast, tuna and from time to time salmon. I also started to eat more veggies, 1 ounce of almonds (or other healthy fat nuts) 3 times a day, half an avocado everyday.
also, I try to keep my dietary cholesterol consumption at 250-300 mgs a day.
also, cut out all processed sugars from the diet. :-)
I hope that this has been an interesting read for you guys and hope that it can help some of you guys get your cholesterol levels back in range.

Nice, very similar to mine but you can add another supp that's extremely effective, policansol at 20mgs once a day. Mine looks like this
2400mgs red yeast rice twice a day. This is probably the most effective supp in the stack pharm companies wanted it pulled because it's so effective and it's basically like a satin
20mgs policansol once a day with dinner
3 extra strength fish oil ed 1400mg each with 900mgs being the good fats were after vs the regular were they only contain 300mgs.
Garlic seed extract
And recently I added coQ10, it's a very effective compound but the stuff we can buy at the supp shop either has poor bioavailability via oral administration or something along those lines so for the longest time I didn't waste my money but a few months ago I was taking a compound that is harsh on lipids so I figured it wouldn't hurt.
First time I used this protocol I was on cycle and learned my cholesterol was high and I was able to bring it down perfectly while still on cycle and in a very short amount of time. So that says something, if it works that well while still on gear it should really do wonders preventing it from occurring in the first place while on and how effective it is while off and not having something working against it.
Fiber is one thing I really need to add I don't get enough. And I recently lowered my RYR to 1200mgs twice a day since the pills I got were only 600mgs vs the 1200mg ones I always got in the past so it seems in your case that dose worked very well so I won't go back up unless I see need to.
Like I said before I've given this protocol to many guys and they to were able to normalize their cholesterol very quickly while still on cycle and even faster while off.
I couldn't do the niacin though and naturally my hdl sucks it's genetic it's the same in my dad and grandpa. Maybe I bought the wrong stuff I should try it again.
pharmabruhThis is definitely an awesome protocol! The protocol I recently did was while being of gear. I start my cycle on Monday and I will definitely bump up the dosage and add the other stuff you mentioned if my current protocol is not sufficient during my cycle. I can definitely see how your protocol works and why is so effect even while on gear.

I'm always boiling hot have been since I was a kid will the niacin flush not make me as hot
pharmabruhTo be honest the niacin does make me a bit hot and turns my skin red. Some people react differently. After 3 week of taking niacin, I wasnt getting as hot and the flushes weren't as bad.
I usually take the niacin at night before bed that way I don't have to go out while I'm flushing red like a tomato lol.
I'm a dam tomato 24/7 lol
