Schwarzenegger, hands down. I remember watching Conan as a kid and wanting a physique like that. Others have inspired me along the way, yet Schwarzenegger is who first got me interested in bodybuilding.
I also look to guys like Serge Nubret, Frank Zane, Danny Padilla, Tom Platz and Lee Priest. Talk about some fucking inspiration!
Frank Zane's physique
Kevin Levrone, Markus Ruhl, Ronnie Coleman and Dorian Yates. I just remember reading a lot of FLEX when I first got into lifting when I was 14 and being blown away by those guys!
I like watching ronnie coleman lifting monster weight
Viking Arbuckle.
I watched tons of Arnold movies and the hulk with Lou who didn't want to the be hulk or terminator when they where 10 years old but I was always inspired by strongmen/ powerlifters my favorites have always been bill kazmiaer and later added mariusz pudzianowski Phil pfister and final Brian shaw. Many other great men but really loved those guys back story. I have always wondered how bill kazmiaer would compete if he had today's technology/ equipment. But I guest that is what made him and others who they are.
Gunther Lee Priest Flex Wheeler
Flex wheeler according to mr Yates the most genetically gifted bodybuilder.
peekyblinderseth feroci .his attitude ,his pation .and he is just like your everyday guy you would work with .a good man
Yates is amazing!
Ben Pakulski is the one I admire most. His approach to nutrition, cardio and exercise execution is amazing. He is one of the most intelligent bodybuilders out there and learning from his content and programs has re-educated me and without doubt saved me from some pretty serious injuries
I agree I like his deep thought into training he covers every little aspect of every exercise and leaves nothing unturned.
B-pak's the man. I like him a lot. Learned a lot. I like hypertrophy training. Banging out hard on heavy weights is sometimes good but learning about hypertrophy, and how actually the muscle grows with most time under tension is my new approach.
Likewise
strength training has a place in a hypertrophy program, particularly to help periodise, but meathead moves do nothing for someone who wants to grow.
Bpak is the king of making you realise where you are really at with TUT and muscle engagement, as well as where you need to be!
He's definitely on another level when it comes to the actual science of bodybuilding...learned a lot from his mass intentions vids, just all the tiny little tweaks to form and positioning
Time to dig those up and watch again...thanks for the reminder guys!!
Hopefully he brings his back up a bit for this years O
I am following his incredible bulk program at the moment, it's pretty good
the MI40x program is a game changer
