Weight loss and strength loss
I started my journey to become healthy, fit and strong again in March weighing 330lbs @ 6'4. I got on trt, programmed my fitness pal to lose 1lb a week, and started lifting. From the first of March until August 1 I had lost 30 pounds and was slowly getting stronger. Not strong, but I was slowly increasing my strength. Now from August 1 until now, I have lost 30-35lbs in 2 months and strength is going down. I look better and feel better, but losing strength is really bothering me. I'm not looking to be a bodybuilder but wanted to powerlift at some point. Am I dropping the way too fast, or should I just accept the facts and focus on getting strength after my fat loss. Or, am I just going to be a big weak ****er. Thanks

danieljohnsonYou can try to eat avocado. It helps lose weight.
A research devided participants into two groups. The first consumed a meal with avocados while in the meal of the other group, there was no avocado.
Researchers started to pose questions about satiety and hunger to both groups.
The first group who consumed avocados was less eager for foods by 28 percent in the 5-hour period.
Moreover, the high content of fiber and low amount of carbs in avocados contribute to weight loss as well.

You are going too fast friend. Try to loose it in a very gradual way or you will definitely loose your strength. take care!!!!!!
simple rule i know...eat healthy, exercise daily!!!!!!!!
Hi RickyBizex. I read about your problem and I found myself somewhat useful to help you. I recently came to know about a website from my friend. That website is about nuez dela. It is very helpful for those who want to reduce their body weight and fats without decreasing their body strength. I am sure, you will find it an important site- http://www.nuez-dela-india.com/about-nuez-de-la-india/ . The nuez de la India reviews are very satisfying.

May Be try eating some carbs, like caned fruits before working out for some extra strength, carbs make me stronger. Also if you workout in the AM with an empty stomach you will be weak, I'm way stronger working out at nights before bed after already had all my meals, I'm no expert on weight loss tho, I'm just throwing pointers out there. Congrats on the weight loss.
I think they go hand in hand
Testrogen_PropC...When you eat less carbs your strength is going to suffer, there's no way around that. What I do is mini-cuts, meaning I'll cut around 10 lbs of fat, then eat at maintenance calories/carbs for a couple weeks so I have my strength back and don't plateau on fat loss, then I'll start another mini-cut. This also keeps my metabolism going. I find that after doing this, I can actually eat more carbs than I was at the end of the previous mini-cut, and still drop to a lower bodyfat percentage
If I were you I would get off the trt because there is no need for it at 25 years old unless doc prescribed.

Okay, so are you 25, or 35? Fix your stats!! I read your other links because your situation and tone sounded familiar. Congrats on your weight loss, too.
I posted the link to another one of your forums because you mentioned your lifting regimen. Have you tried any other types of lifting regimens?
Makwa has you on foods. Can you break down your diet for us...it would be great to see your daily calories and macros intake....thanks
Fix your stats....ASAP ;)
You've dropped 60-65 lbs in 6 months? I believe you're making great progress.
When I am cutting to lose weight, strength goes out the window for me. Lower carbs and decrease in strength seem to go hand in hand. Lose the weight first and then and then start building your body back up and training for strength.
congrats on making the decision to improve your life and losing such a large amount of weight!
that is a lot of weight within a short period of time and it's very common to lose strength while cutting. since your making such great progress I would suggest boosting your calories up to maintenence for a week or so to see how you respond.
what is your diet and routine looking like right now?
are you on doctor prescribed trt?
