Hungry as a MF!!
ad
Hey fam.. I've been on 4iu of GH and 30mcg of igf1 for a month now.. I've not drawn bloods as of yet. But I've been hungry as can be. To the point of eating so much I feel sick, but still hungry. Is this a normal thing with either compound? Anyone else had this happen? Thanks

aasfreak69IGF-1 will most definitely lead to increased hunger as it is a peptide hormone that mimics that action of insulin in the body. This means that is aids in converting glucose into energy and thus lowers blood sugar levels. I would recommend that you get a blood sugar monitor to watch you blood sugar levels. This was advised to me by a pro I know who used hGH. He told me that hGH usually causes higher than normal blood sugar as your body turns to fat rather than glucose for fuel. But the hunger you are feeling is your body going hypoglycemic which is a shitty feeling. I get shaky and ravenously hungry when my blood sugar drops and I can't train while hypo. Superdrol seems to cause hypoglycemia too which I have experienced.
It is also possible that you don't have legit IGF-1 and may be using a GH releasing peptide as Dacky just posted.
I can tell you that I took bloods, twice, same test, different times of the day after food and in a fasted state two weeks ago and I've been on pharma grade HGH (see pictures on my profile) since April and my blood sugar was well within normal range actually perfect in both tests. I'm on 5iu a day, I have pushed up to 6iu, then thought it was a waste so dropped back down, and I've never been felt any blood sugar issues and the bloods proved it.
aasfreak69You may not and you're lucky because a lot of people on hGH develop insulin resistance where their bodies cell's become immune to the action of insulin and their pancreas has to work harder to keep up. My blood sugar has been around 180ng/mL for the past few weeks after 3 months on hGH and this is a problem. I may have to come off or figure out what to do because high blood sugar is a serious issue. You can fry your kidneys, lose your vision, and lose limbs so its nothing to fuck around with. I have started taking Avandia once per day and this seems to be controlling things.
All Im saying to you guys on hGH is to watch your blood sugar. You can get a monitor at any pharmacy for about $60-70. I test mine at least 4-5 times per day and just tested it after fasting and its 80ng/mL which is good.
BTW - anything more than 4iu of hGH is a waste IMHO. You can get the best results with 3-4iu per day. I started taking my whole 4iu first thing in the morning after researching this. It seems your body naturally produces hGH while you sleep so why would you want to mess this up by injecting exogenous hGH? This is how most people are doing it who know hGH.
I would address your diet if your blood sugar has been that high for that long.
GH is mostly produced during the deepest sleep and mostly at night BUT that's not the only time GH is produced. It pulses throughout the day so slamming 4iu just after waking is not a pulse. It's more pulse like if one injects a larger dosage in smaller frequent shots. This is what I do and it works great - I've also experimented with time of day and for me I've found the perfect times.
How do you know most people are injecting all their GH in the morning? Have you surveyed a large enough sample of GH users?
Your statement on "the body producing natural GH and why would you want to mess this up by injecting exogenous GH" is a silly one because the body also produces natural testosterone... but yet here we are.
aasfreak69Yeah but testosterone and hGH and totally different hormones and when you inject exogenous test you shut down your body's production of test. I haven't seen any studies showing the exogenous hGH injections suppress your body's own production of hGH.
I have been seeing better results by injecting 4iu in the morning because I don't hinder my body's own production that happens when we sleep. This is of course totally anecdotal because I don't know how much hGH my body produces at night.
But I did get a blood sugar monitor and noticed that my glucose was about 180-200ng/mL after an injection of hGH. During the rest of the day it is about 80-120ng/mL where it should be so its likely not an issue.
GH and igf both make me hungry, I haven't run them together yet but I am going to soon. Id imagine it's going to make me very hungry lol
I'm not noticing any increased hunger adding GH to IGF-1 LR3. Will be interested to see when I stop the IGF-1 if the hunger diminishes as I'll be on GH for the next 12 months.
Yeah I'm curious to see what happens, but my appetite usually increases with most compounds fortunately lol
I experienced serious hunger when running IGF-1 LR3 but not to the extend you're describing. Perhaps your IGF-1 is GHRP-6 as that would explain that sort of hunger. Just a thought could be completely off with this one. I have not experienced any additional hunger when adding HGH.
If my igf was bunk there would be a bunch of ppl here hitting up a top source about it. So I doubt it's that. But it's my first run with igf and GH together. Thanks for the input.
No worries. I think I can guess who you're using and it's definitely not bunk if I'm right. Guess extreme hunger is one of the sides for you. If you're bulking this is a good things. All the best with the rest of the cycle fella.
Most definitely bulking.. running test along with these GH and igf. I'm loving the cycle so far too. Thanks
