-1 The Never Ending Cycle

ad

Ok so I am planning my first 'cycle' but have a few questions. My diet is on point and so is my training, I have no health issues.

I am planning on doing a blast and cruise for life because I really don't see the point in putting my body though PCT over and over at my age. With enough cycles my boys will shut down anyway, so why delay the inevitable? My reasons why PCT seems a waste of time for me personally:

  • I never want kids
  • I don't want to get married or have a girlfriend
  • I don't care about losing my hair
  • I don't want the emotional rollercoaster involved with PCT
  • I don't care about being on TRT for life
  • I won't stop using steroid steroids once I start (unless the first cycle has terrible emotional/physical effects for me, then I will just submit, PCT and stay natty)

So why not blast and cruise? Anyone else here who does blast and cruise who can give me some advice?

Also puberty gave me slight gyno, so I presume my odds for increased gyno on steroids as an adult are high? I read the chance of gyno on 500mg test is negligible?

My plan was:

Blast 500mg test e for 12 weeks
Cruise 150-250mg test e for 6 weeks or longer (duration and dosage depends on my bloodwork and what I stabilise at)

Rinse and repeat.

No offense taken, I agree I do not have a healthy mindset. I just find life rather dull unless I am doing something extreme, I can't pinpoint why but that is just how I am and how I have always been. As my progress in the gym slows I am frustrated and just want to ramp things up again, for the rush of it all. My noob gains are long gone and things have been slow this year, but in just a few months I could gain an entire lifetime of muscle gain if I juice. I suppose I just want to keep riding the great feeling speeding towards my goals gives.

The time I am happiest in life has been when I have been making the most gym progress, I don't know why, just for some reason it makes me happy in every aspect of my life when I do. The carry over enriches every other part of my life, which was why I became so dedicated. If I stagnate in the gym, I become unhappy and that again carries over to all other aspects of my life.

There are probably some deep psychological reasons why, but I can't pinpoint why. I often ask myself why I am lifting heavy things for no reason. It makes no sense. All I know if I love it.

true grit's picture

6'3 176#?? No offense, but that's a pencil. Your "noob" gains are nowhere near gone. You need to eat big. That's why you've stalled. You can work out till hell freezes over. If you don't eat you don't gain. NO, a few mo of juice is not going to provide anyone a lifetime of gains. And, the juice isn't going to do anything if you don't eat. If you don't learn to eat off cycle, then you can bet big that you won't eat on cycle. Steroids are not a ticket to instant hugeness. For your own sake, you really need to consider doing some real research before you permanently damage yourself. Not having kids is only one issue with your plan. There are many worse side effects that can have lifetime ramifications.

Blue Raptor's picture

I was under the impression PCT was damaging to your health? If this is the case then wouldn't it make more sense to cruise at a safe TRT dose? If I PCT until 40 that would mean 12 years of PCT... and only to end up on trt anyway eventually?

I don't see the advantage personally. I hope you can elaborate as prehaps I am misunderstanding the benefit of PCT as opposed to TRT other than the inconvenience of pinning.

SenseiMiagi's picture

Lol

Blue Raptor's picture

Thanks for the good response, those are definitely points for me to consider.

One of the other appeals of TRT as opposed to PCT was that I read PCT can cause extreme mood/energy fluctuations. So I was hoping using TRT instead would prehaps negate those issue also. I wouldn't want the PCT to interfere with my personal or work life which was the other reason I was leaning towards TRT.

Do you have any advice on this too?

kodiakGRRL's picture

go read up in the PCT section hun. Look for post that discuss the use of aromasin in addition to clomid and nolvadex ...

consider that if you start on trt too young you are going to run into other more complicated issues as you get OLD ...

mood fluctuations and energy issues can occur when you are blasting so just because you are on cycle doesnt mean you are exempt from having these issues. exogenous testosterone isn't all that it is cracked up to be and if you follow some of the older guys or guys who have been on trt for sometime they will tell you that even with trt they don't feel quite 'right' and that it isn't the same as you producing your own testosterone

robxl12321's picture

This shit right here Kodiak! I was running and deca test cycle kept the deca at half the test was using caber the works and turned into an emotional roller coaster as well as my appetite falling off and slow but sure energy decrease. This can happen at any moment from the smallest factor or change in your body.

Troll.

SenseiMiagi's picture

Complete nonsense. Trolling, or kneejerk reacting to something that has happened to you personally. You will not/should not receive any validation for this decision here. Nonsensical trolling IMO.

Blue Raptor's picture

Netier, I have been considering blast and cruise for about this for a year for the reasons I initially outlined.

I bid you luck in your journey then Jedi.

And just when you think the madness has abated.....I hope this is a joke!!!!

Blue Raptor's picture

Srry but my madness is 100% authentic

Darkhorse777's picture

Blast and cruise taboo around here unless your old and already on trt ...rethink your approach starting with eating a shit ton of food and training your ass off then come back and get some beginner cycle advice

Blue Raptor's picture

How come it is taboo? Is it health reasons or people just being concerned they may change their mind and want to come off?

Darkhorse777's picture

Health reasons

"my diet is on point and so is my training".

Your stats say your 6-3 and 80kgs (that's 176lbs for anyone trying to translate). You shouldn't even be considering gear if that's the base you've built.

"I don't want to get married or have a girlfriend"

That's one of the strangest things I've read. Not sure if this is a joke or if you've got some major psychological issues here. Sounds very lonely to me.

I'm not even going to start on the TRT....

waterhead235's picture

I think you are getting ahead of yourself. Run a standard Test only cycle, do a proper PCT, then make the choice to cycle or blast. I speak from personal experience here, it gets really fucking old jabbing a needle in your body twice a week. I've been on self prescribed TRT for over 2 years. I'm preparing to come off and I can't wait! Blast and cruise looks great on paper but you are choosing to shut down a perfectly good endocrine system for no good reason. If you do decide to B&C you need to cruise longer than you blast to give your body a break.

Blue Raptor's picture

Thanks for the info. Perhaps you are right about giving it a go and then doing PCT first, I will give it some thought. Is it common to be able to be able to recover from PCT after 2 years? I read a story about one guy who managed it after 10! However I was unsure if he was just a statistical anomaly

waterhead235's picture

I don't have high hopes for myself. I've got a forum I started in the TRT section go read it to get all my info. It sounds great at first just stay on and don't lose any gains, but then real life sets in. You are shutting down your endocrine system and your body will fight back. You need to let your body return to normal and let all systems function as designed. Even if my levels come back shitty after my pct, I'm still gonna stay off for a while before I go back to my TRT dose.

guitarplayer1's picture

Why are we entertaining any type of blast or trt? This guy is a complete moron that has not put any real effort or sensibility to what he needs to do naturally.

I wouldn't reccomend any type of aas for this character until realizes and performs what needs to be done in the kitchen and the gym.

Hopefully other twigs will see how foolish this is and rethink their approach.

waterhead235's picture

The guy is gonna do what he is gonna do. I'm trying to show him that B&C isn't as glamorous as it looks. Sure he's misguided and got some preconceived notions about pct, that's why I'm trying to educate him.

VIKING EVOLUTION's picture

I agree.

Blue Raptor's picture

Thanks for the genuine reply you sound like a good guy irl.

These are things I have considered though. If I was to have a child I would adopt anyway, there are so many children without homes. Also I would not want to pass my genetics onto a child, considering my family's history with regards to health/genetics etc, I would be quite content with the bloodline ending. I also really dislike children, I just can't stand them, I find them disgusting and irritating.

As for falling in love, I would never rule it out, but it would certainly be an unconventional relationship, considering I don't want to live with anyone else or spend gratuitous amounts of time with them.

Blue Raptor's picture

I haven't made up my mind hence why I asked. All though it was nice to hear your perspective, I however stated in my initial post family etc are not a concern for me.

What is holding me back from deciding blast and cruise is its risks in terms of long term health and strength progress. Both of which I have been unable to find information on.

I can see why you're single and alone. Thank you for not reproducing.

As opposed to yourself who attempts to insult people on online forums for no reason? I wonder who is the more compassionate person IRL? Perhaps you should spend less time obsessing over women and more time trying to better yourself as a person, instead of immaturely lashing out at strangers for no reason.

Not that it should matter, but I have had two opportunities for a relationship in the past year, both of which I turned down.

guitarplayer1's picture

Obsessing over women? Lol, ya you caught me.

I see your future with your attitude....still skinny and now with fried balls.

You boy!

Attempting to try and insult random people on a forum for no reason just makes you look a fool. As doing so is not productive and only serves an emotional need for yourself, so what is the emotional need you are trying to fill guitarplayer1? Or do you not think more deeply than 'monkey smash'?

You dont want to get married or have a girlfriend? You dont like sex? Regurally? With someone who knows how you like it? Are you gay? serious question?

slow the fuck down, you havent even ran one cycle and your talking about starting your first one with the intentions of blasting and cruising for the rest of your life. Youre not 28, your 18. bottom line. You dont care about being on trt, give it a few years and youll care and youll hate it.

So you want to take a perfectly heathtly HPTA, you probably dont even know what that means, that runs on its own and requires nothing and make it need exogenous testosterone to function. Seems logical.

Reading your post it sounds like it was made emotionally, not rational thinking. Did you just go though a breakup or some other tramatic event?

your 6 foot 3, and weigh 176 pounds, get the fuck out of here with "My diet is on point and so is my training"
if your diet and training where on point youd be sitting around 230 at 6'3, not 60lbs lighter, im right around 6ft and i remember what I looked like at 175, like I hardly even lifted. you got a little over 3 inches on me, you look like a skeleton. Im so sick of hearing that phrase, everyone says it, while nobodys actually telling the truth becuase youre height and weight tell the real story.

This whole post is so fucked, I dont even know why i just wasted my time on some 18 year old or extremely immature 28 year old. Back to the drawing board for you.

So basically you want to live your life alone with no wife, no kids, no family, bald, sterile, sexless, on trt, and the only thing you have going for you is your steroids and liftiing, id say muscles/physique but youre gonna get nowhere until you learn how to eat and train, steroids dont fix that shit bro. Take it from someone who was once where you were in a sense, no gf, all the gear in the world, just trained ate and slept, its fucking lonely bro, most of my time spent just researchng gear, training methods, nutrition, thats pretty much it. Now Im about to get married, buy a house, start a family one day, and hey i still have all the gear in the world. You can have both.

Blue Raptor's picture

I just enjoy being single, is there something bad about that? I have been in 2 long term relationships and know what it is all about. OFC I enjoy sex but that doesn't mean I need a girlfriend. I primarily enjoy being alone, just because I do not have the same needs as you does not make that a negative.

You dont care about being on trt, give it a few years and youll care and youll hate it.
If it is helping me reach my goals then I don't care how unpleasant it is. I would trade just about anything to reach where I want to be.

Did you just go though a breakup or some other tramatic event?
No

your 6 foot 3, and weigh 176 pounds, get the fuck out of here with "My diet is on point and so is my training"

You make such assumptions without knowing my personal circumstances. You don't know how long I have been training, my bf %, bone thickness, test levels, genetics or anything else.

Also in what world do you think someone in their late 20s can gain over 50lbs of pure muscle naturally? 30lb of muscle over a LIFETIME is achievable for most natural lifters.

I know I have plenty more gains to make naturally but why bother wasting time? Also regardless of your opinion I could sit on my ass all day and still get big with roids (not that I ever would) http://www.bodyrecomposition.com/muscle-gain/anabolic-steroids-muscle-gr... so routine/diet only become a limiting factor when reaching the upper thresholds of what the drug dosage can provide. So in a way it is not relevant to my decision to blast and cruise which was what I came here for advice on.

My routine is: https://www.muscleandstrength.com/workouts/jason-blaha-intermediate-stre...

My diet is:

Diet Bulk: 3250cal
Minimum: 120g protein
Minimum: 50g fat
Fibre: 80g minimum
rest of macros whatever I want

Diet Cut: 2000 to 2300cal
Min: 180g Protein
Minimum: 50g fat
Fibre: 80g minimum
rest of macros whatever I want

No refined sugar, no saturated fat, no processed foods

How is that not on point?

Also incase you critacise my protein intake please read: http://bayesianbodybuilding.com/the-myth-of-1glb-optimal-protein-intake-... note the referenced studies

guitarplayer1's picture

It's not on point because 3250 calories for a bulk for a man who is 6'3 and weighing to blast is laughable.

Those cals are highly suited for a 13 year old girl though

irongame427's picture

Thats how many calories I needed to gain when i first started lifting at 125lbs lol

Blue Raptor's picture

Those calories result in me gaining 1lb a week... why would getting fat for no reason be helpful?

guitarplayer1's picture

You weigh 176lbs...so how many weeks have you been gaining a lb a week?

Owes a Review × 1
Blue Raptor's picture

I am cutting currently, sitting at about 13% 80kg, I bulked for 8 weeks. Strength went up slightly but it was pretty slow.

When I cut this time last year to 10%, I was around 73kg... so based on that I have probably gained 3kg lean mass in a year
