+ 4 How to easily raise your growth hormone levels by 142%
The link below is to a study done on 55 healthy volunteers measuring multiple different things occurring in the body while in a sauna for 30 minutes. The one that really applies to us here is what they found regarding serum growth hormone levels. They found that sitting in the sauna increased growth hormone levels by a whopping 142%. We know working out causes a release of gh along with MGF so to further increase Gh levels maybe we should sit in the sauna after workouts for a half hour. Besides the gh release theyre are alot of benefits to sitting in the sauna for a bit, sweating out toxins, getting rid of sodium and water weight etc. Gh converts to igf-1 as most of you know and higher igf-1 levels post workout is exactly what we want. Thought id share it with you guys. Merry Christmas

RustyhookerThere is many cool benefits to sauna. Your gh post, blood flow, recovery and sickness prevention.
Bloodflow.....you just finished a hard session. Sip down your whey and hit sauna. Hearts pumping, nutrients being delivered, stretch out sore muscles.
Recovery....as said above with nutrient delivery. Stretch muscles and fascia. Less acid buildup because blood in there delivering nutrients and oxygen.
Sickness.....whats your bodies natural response to virus, colds/flu? It raises body temp, right. Viral infections cant live in a hot atmosphere in your body. 15 minute sauna and hot tub soak keeps temp elevated. Take advantage of what your gym offers.
shiningstarnice post bro!
bigmurphI love the sauna but wouldn't it be better to sit in before workout to get the release then hit the weights with it flowing or is it better to use the gh release for recovery purpose because I sit in the sauna after and I have always felt that it helped me recover from my work out making me and my body feel better. Can this be because of the release?
Ya it probably would honestly, becuase it takes time for the gh to travel to the liver and get it to release igf-1, so by the time the workouts over igf-1 levels will be sky high right when you want them to be. I used to hit the sauna for like 5-10 mins before i worked out to warm up and stretching. Its so hot in there muscles get nice and warm and loose fast. Only issue with staying in there for 30 mins is idk about you but i feel pretty exhausted when its like 140 degrees or whatever it is. just 10 mins is enough to drain the energy out of me. 30 mins pre workout idk if i could do it. If you can it would probably be the ideal way. but just remember carbs wil blunt the release of gh from the pituitary, so idk how long youd have to wait after the sauna before drinking any intra workout supps with carbs.
AnonNever had the opportunity yet to try out a sauna but what I do is hit a standing tanning bed for 12 minutes first, stretch, hit the weights, stretch, and tan again. Gets my blood and body working before and after I workout.
DeathstrokeThere was a reason my body always loved the sauna after a workout it just feels good. Thanx for the interesting post
Merry Christmas
