+ 1 Anxiety?

ad

Hi guys I don't want to get in trouble by asking this?

But do you guys suffer from anxiety while in cycle or in life in general (I do personally in both areas, obviously more so on cycle)

Just wondering what's best OTC supp to take for this? 5hpt?
Just brought some of this, it's either this or weed lol...
Just noticed it's really gettin better of me lately, and would rather get it sorted rather than just carry on like it effecting relationships, social life etc etc

Also any prescribed meds (if not allowed to talk about pm me instead of open forum)

Thanks

Ive had some mild anxiety here in there in my life. I have never found a good OTC product but do take some script meds when needed.

Try Rescue Remedy by Bach.... This is an herbal spray, it works well! Like a lot of people said below, try nature remedy's first, herbs, cutting things out of your diet, meditation, yoga....whatever works for you.

I could go into great detail about why not to use prescribed anti anxiety medication... but lets just keep it simple with its addictive & brain altering(not all but most), meaning you may not be able to just stop use without risk of seizures. I'm not a doctor, but my best friend is and we've had many discussions about anti anxiety medication because of people I'm close to using it and how to get them off of it.

I struggle with panic attacks. I have since my brother died 14 years ago. I have only done one cycle. At first it caused anxiety I am not sure if it was just the idea of pinning myself but I was amped for a week or so. Afterward I hadn't had a single panic attack at all. Now since I've been off I noticed that it's back. But dealing with this for so many years I can say I haven't found anything otc that helps. Don't despair tho. One thing that helps me a lot is drinking ice cold water. I know that it sounds dumb but it's helped me and friends of mine when I tossed them the idea. Also pacing slowly and controlled breathing.

@ash48, this may sound like I'm fucking with you, but I can't be more dead serious. I find that a good cup of hot, herbal tea, especially mint or chamomile, helps me to literally chill out. I admit, I'm talking more about daily stress than TRUE ANXIETY, but it still works like a champ for me. It's like the calmness simply helps me PHYSICALLY let go of whatever bullshit seems to be weighing on me. As in, I can feel stress releasing from my delts and shoulders. Just the smell of a good cup of tea helps my body physically let go.

I promise I'm not being a dick. I'm a pretty hardcore libertarian. Do what you will. As long as we all do no harm to each other or our environments, I believe big time in "live and let live."

For me, I don't meditate, although I think I'd benefit from it. Chemically, I don't smoke weed, but I don't mind if people do or don't. For other things that might be "hippie therapies," I don't do Chinese medicine or anything, nor do I do aroma therapy, etc.

To each their own. If something works for a guy/gal, great. If it doesn't, change it. For me, a cup of hot tea, both in the morning as well as another in the evening, really simply help me relax. If it can help you, that would make me happy.

I agree about what has been mentioned about eliminating caffeine, that has always given me major anxiety. I used to love smoking weed but in my case it tends to make my anxiety worse and I become paranoid.

Natural supplements l-theanine (NOW brand), lemon balm, l-taurine 2-4 grams/day. L-ornithine 3 grams calms me down enough to get some sleep.

I get prescribed clonazepam 0.5mg to take at night, for PTSD. Also I get rx for Xanax 1 mg to take PRN, I usually just bite off a piece when I start getting agitated at work - managing stupid people will do that....anyway, HGH 3-4 u.i at night makes me very mellow the next day.

Yes, anxiety gets worse on cycle. I also get rx. adhd medication and sometimes end up taking too much cause I feel lethargic or what not. Gotta cut that crap out of my life. SSRI are always an option - low dose lexapro 2.5 mg worked like a charm but it felt so unnatural to me (being calm and content) I had to go off.

well I am of the opinion that you can nit exactly trust what the local doc feeds you now can we ?

I just watched some very interesting documentaries with scientific backing. I would look up "cbd oil"
-does all kinds of things to to stop cancer, but they noted complete shut off of anxiety and depression.

From what i know of weed (cbd comes from part of the marijuana plant) they have been trying t keep it and it's components out of the hands of the public for decades because of th every fact that it combats cancer so well. (check out that former sec of defense under nixon as cabinet minister was at the same time the ceo of searle pharmaceuticals, at the time the leading cancer treatment provider in the entire world,. no how much coincident is it that he helped author and put through the Anti drug bill that kicked off the drug war, with weed on the tippy top????? hum ...interesting is it not ?

What the studies show in cbd are astounding, it completely kills the cancer cells.

Anxiety and or depression are a very serious condition and should be taken very seriously. Self medicating is not a good idea. It could go down hill very fast and you won't know it. I've lost a lot of freinds to suicide with little to no warning. Please see a doctor

im not being a dick but i dont think anxiety and depression are necessarily related for anxiety theres one med that will work although im probably going to get in trouble for saying it thats valium/diazepam another is atenolol a beta blocker presidents use it and prime ministers before big speeches to calm there nerves

Are you a doctor? I'm telling the op to seek medical help. Not some advice from a bro

I suffer from a good deal of anxiety, mostly from my time in the service. Any over the counter stuff never really did anything. Best bet if it's an option is to to a doctor. The only negative is some of the meds can have some bad sides, I've been through about 5 different meds and finally found one that works, I take Zoloft and it seems to keep the anxiety at bay, just makes me drowsy so I take it night with my ambien and sleep like a champ.

Good deal man, gotta take care of yourself. From my experience, it seems like a lot of people under estimate anxiety and such or they dont understand it, but having a sound mind is just as important as taking care of the rest of the body. Hope it all works out and hit me up if you have any other questions about any of it.

Yes, anxiety can be a huge problem, especially on cycle. When I feel the onset of anxiety, I tend to notice my symptoms before it grows into an anxiety attack. Slow your breathing, close your eyes, concentrate on slow, contracted breathing. You may want to learn to meditate to some extent, it really helps being able to do so.

Also, If I get one at home and my girlfriend is there she usually holds me and does the slow breathing method with me. It really helps man.

Edit: if you have a dog, cuddle up with it during an attack, it helps as well.

Yeah I believe that's best better...
Seeing the doc next Friday Smile

Anxiety since 18yrs of age. I believe it's from all the ecstacy i did back in the day. I've tried everything and seen doc's, only thing that works is xanax for me. On cycle 10 times worse more with tren.

EQ always gave me anxiety. I would start sweating at the worst times or get so hungry I feel like I would kill someone for food and I eat all day long. Anxiety is a feeling and usually passes so I don't throw any kind of pills or drugs on it. I think this is a good topic.

phenibut, l-theanine, l-tyrosine...all legal supplements. i actually make my own vitamins and i even homemade mix my own preworkout by choosing all the stimulants and caffine doasge, and supplements inside. i have a source that sells supplements in raw powder form. there are many anxiety assisting supplements that could help. goodluck...

Adding drugs to help with anxiety can be a very slippery slope. You first need to see what's the genesis of your problem (aas compounds, stress, physiological issues, etc.) and go from there. If you can solve the problem by getting off the juice or a compound, then that would be the prudent course. If it's cause by something else, I would see a doctor or two. Don't self prescribe this or you could make things much worse and add more problems.

Good advice there bro..
