*SKINNY FAT FOR LIFE*

ad

Title was to get your attention but it's kinda true but I'll start out with all my stats and info.

26 years old
6'5
228 pounds
16% bf

I've been training for about 5 years now and been consistent with knowing pretty well what I was doing for about 3. I've gone to a competition nutritionist for different bodybuilding/physique athlete. I worked with them for about 6 months and it cost me an arm and a leg and for the most part, I was the same starting weight but did gain a couple pounds of lean mean, thus lowering my body fat percent.
I've don't two cycles one of test e @500/weekly + dbol. I loved it and got a ton of strength and size, as well as I've done a cycle of test/deca and it ruined my sex drive and function forever.

My issues started young I was 140 pounds at 6'2 graduating high school at 17. I never lifted a weight and my life was partying and video games and junk/fast food. I started working out with some buddies at 20 and would eat anything and everything in site because I was sick of being so skinny and weak that I sky rocketed to 240 ish in 2 years. Ya I gained 100lbs in 2 years, and I was probably about 20-23% bf but didn't care since the scale and strength made me feel accomplished.

After that i worked out at college and consistently and changed my ways of eating whatever and tried dieting down and got all the way to 180 again, but really felt skinny and weak again so I gained and was unhappy and thus lost again. Finally the back and forth ended and for the last 3 years I have been between 220-240 and just haven't made significant changes or gains in strength, muscle, body fat, or definition.

I feel like all my hard work really doesn't get me anywhere. I kill myself in the gym lifting with my buddies who compete, I keep my nutrition on point at there advice from the knowledge they have attained from experience or their coaches. I just don't know what to do. I recently went from trying to bulk to switching to cutting the last 5-7 weeks and I went from 235-225 and honestly look worse than before I started, I have all my body fat around my stomach, and I just am getting skinny and no definition or loss of body fat.

I brought my cals to about 3500
75 fats
275 carbs
400 protein

Keep it very clean with a cheat or two on the weekends. I haven't been doing cardio as I felt I was calorie deficient enough but was going to add it once I plateud but now I feel I shouldn't cut with the poor results and diminishing gains and appearance it's giving me.

Mentally it's a huge toll on me and my life. I try and put so much effort in. My buddies who compete all have great genetics and when I ask them what they or their coaches think I should do they have no advice except to get my hormones checked, blame it on my genetics, or jump on gh and a cycle.

I know it's more than just not being on a cycle to be the reason I look so shitty and don't get results. Possible hormones? I've been on trt for 2 years since my test levels have always been shit and it's in my family. I had a elderly mans levels at 21. Any help would be appreciated I respect a lot of you guys on here and look to these pages and forums for motivation.

Hey thanks brotha I appreciate it! I'm a country boy been on a farm my whole life even when I was skinny I was strong. I think big and strong is the only thing in my cards not ripped :/ sadly even with aas! We just gotta do what we can I guess

Since I was so skinny growing up and then bulked up my legs haven't ever really caught up yet I train them very hard with my buddies and they have added inches in the past 3 years mine barely have changed in any shape or size, next cycle I'm gonna run is all for strength. I want to get the strength back up and check it out. I know if I ever wanted to be ripped without being a twig I would need to get to a way higher lean muscle mass so it's a journey! It's motivating to hear you are so positive and at piece with what I'm dealing with as well

FR sent thanks brotha I appreciate all the input and advice! Yes I am taking 100/weekly test cyp for trt I will blast in a little while as I'm coming off that cut and need to get my cals back up, I was maintaining at about 4500 cals before my cut but like I said I'm down to 3500 dwindling away! F it just gonna go big and strong then when I have more mass I'll lean out again! And I'm gonna add in the cardio against. I usually would do 20min steady state max vertical on the treadmill fast walking what would you recommend and do for cardio!?

Fuck your fiends and their superior genetics. We normal folk have to work twice as hard but you will get results!

Eat bigger, lift bigger, sleep bigger!

Excuse me while I chug down a home made mass gainer shake and get to bed early.

Haha hell ya my best friend pretty much walked on stage at 18 with barely working out and won a huge show for physique...giving 6 years of training hard and cycling he has gained from 165 on stage that day to walking around 240 and probably 15% body fat and still has a tight stomach and define structure in his abs to a point. I think my genetics just will let me be big and strong

My best friend is a genetic freak, 6'2 240 full 6 pack year round, when he starts bulking he 'just adds bacon to every meal", when he wants to cut he does high reps less weight beleving that old myth is what makes you ripped and not dieting hard. In college he would eat 1 meal a day and drink 20 beers everynight staying up till 8 in the morning drinking and never dropped below 225 ripped while probably only lifting for 3 months total out of the entire 3 years we were in school together. Doesnt know a damn thing about lifting, or nutrition. Hes also all natural to never used gear in his life. If i did that for 3 years id be back at 130lbs where i started in no time. idk if he even drinks a protein shake after he lifts. Comes from a family of pro rugby players, record setting runners etc. The genetic elite. He sits at a lean 240 with probably a little over 100g of protein ed, maybe 2500 cals, except the days he drinks then he probably hits 4000 lol. If he took it seriously i bet he could make it up to 260 around 8% in a year, naturally. He sits at 240 at 8% natty barley lifting knowing nothing about lifting or eating. If he got on a good diet and training routine and stopped drinking and partying I completely believe he could be 260 at 8% natty, possibly more considering what hes acheived without any effort at all.

But hes just part of the elite genetic 1%, the rest of us didnt get dealt that hand, but its ok im cool with it. It will take me longer but ill get to where i wanna be. And thats the way you need to look at it, work with what you got, keep on your diet, suplus no more then 500 cals if that consideirng your natty, you have to lift heavy 8-10 reps on major lifts, and reguarlly change things up, spend a month every so often training like a powerliftier developing strength then go back to your bb workouts and use the new strength apply it to those rep ranges to lift more muscle. I think with some time, proper dieting and hard lifting you should be able to reach the mid 230s around 10% bf considering youre 6'5. We have diet clinic, post yours up there and maybe we can make some tweaks or see things you cant. Theres some smart dudes on this board.

You're the man I appreciate it! The genetic thing sucks but I guess it's just like I'm taller than 90% but don't have the bodybuilding genetics just the height ones people wish they had. I appreciate the motivation it's hard sometimes I just get down and lose hope but I'm never gonna stop grinding
