Push-up Survey for Eroids Members

ad

I found a used pair of "Perfect Push-Ups" and decided to throw them into my workout to try and save my wrists some aggravation. I was happy to do 65 push-ups. However, I don't consider myself very strong, especially compared to the many knowledgeable members here. I'm curious, how many push-ups is everyone doing?

100 push ups in a minute when i timed it for a military test.

I usually knock out 40 pushups to warm-up joints before first set of bench. It helps a lot and I do not fatigue from it. Last time I maxed out it was probably around 90. Never tried the perfect pushup. Is it really better than regular ones?

last year i done master trainers course, there was a physical test towards the end, i was able too do 263 push ups non stop, also 75 chin ups non stop.

at that stage i was very lean and weighed less, i went through a very silly phase losing weight, think they call it cutting lol.

diet was super strict, vitamins, minerals and all nutrients were on point and was taking aminos all fkn day lol, its embarrassing too admit but i was 85 kgs with abs popping lol.

thank fuck i wised up fast and bulked the fug back up, right now i could probably do 20 pushups hahahahahaah.

112kgs now 15 months later, thats a lot of fukn food!

263!?? Fuck man you were just showin off after 200!

yeah, i was fit as fuck at that stage, getting into all the fitness shit blah blah, im a bulker, fuck cardio and pushups now lol.

lactic acid was brutal, push through. push ups are fuck all, i got my name on a plaque at the institution for it.

You must've took the intensity to a high lever brother during that stage to do such a feat! I'd say that kind of drive shifted to bulking and adding mass will equate to huge gains! Get that shit!

i dieted down too that weight, im 6 foot 2- so imagine what 85kgs looks like on that, i was 108, went down too 85, and yes i changed my training completley at that stage, all high rep low weight fast movements, mostly cables and concentrations, no benching/ squatting etc etc.

was just a sill phase, i was quick as fuck, agile and fitter, but ill always be a bulker, gorrilla style, no neck, no abs lol

Haha hell yea! I thought I was going to diet down once, but realized I cant stand feeling weak and compromising strength. Abs poppin just wont ever be on the menu with me. I like to move heavy shit and take heavy shits lol

If I just do pushups with no concentration...alot. If I perform them slow and precise up and down flexing...not alot. The latter are beneficial...the first, momentum takes away alot of the benefits of a push up. Try those pushups slow actually feeling the weight of your body...see if you hit 65. You can get one hell of a deep burn doing pushups the hard way

I'll count em. 1,2. Yep, 2. I'm stronger than I thought.

When i incorporate push ups into my lifting regimen, they are weighted with 2-25lbs plates strapped on my back, using 2 red bungee cords. I do three sets of 15, and push up holding on to two 45lbs hex dumbbells....
