+ 4 Eroids v Google search

ad

The great thing about this day and age is you can find answers to anything in five seconds flat. Search engines are great for that.

The great thing about eroids is PERSONAL EXPERIENCE. The one aspect of this game I still learn something from regularly is exactly that, personal experience. People are different, endocrinology is inherently a kind of "try it and adjust" area of medicine. Lots of things that don't happen to me do happen to others and vica versa.

Why do I mention this? Someone posts a question about a steroid(s). Some members run off, google it and post their findings. Have they had personal experience with it? Nope, but they're happy to tell you exactly how it works, how to run etc. Must be right eh? Let me break it to you, there's lots of bollocks written about how drugs / chemicals work. They're not all written by doctors and chemists. After working in the pharmaceutical industry for fifteen years I'll tell you a lot of the stuff I see written is absolute nonsense, a lot of it is out of date and antiquated, and a big percentage of it is recycled.

If you haven't had first hand experience with it, you're repeating information the op could and dare I say should have found themselves. Advise on what you know personally, and know when to say "I don't have the experience to help here". Otherwise you have nothing more to offer than posting the following: www.google.com

@Catalyst, I'm redundant when I say this, but it fits here, so forgive me repeating myself!

My education regarding TRT and AAS has been: B.E. (Before Eroids) and A.E. (After Eroids)

I've lifted for twenty years, and really "trained" (concentrated more on form and mind/muscle connection rather than just moving numbers through space) for about five or six years. As my testosterone has naturally declined and my quality of life has diminished from this condition, I've been desperate.

Eroids has changed my desperation into hope, enthusiasm, and good mojo.

The #1 thing I've learned here is, PATIENCE. These chemicals are tools that can help aid our recovery, and ultimately enhance our lives. But they are not to be fucked with needlessly. Stories of guys going sterile, or rushing to the emergency room, injuries, etc, that could simply be avoided with a little research, this is better than any book education a guy or gal could get.

When you add the open discussions regarding sources to purchase from, this place is invaluable.

My sincerest gratitude to you, @Catalyst, and all of your brothers & sisters here have helped me and countless others. I continue to learn with an open mind, and am constantly reminded that I must remain patient, go slowly, and pay it forward to the next generation when it's my own turn to share my experiences. Chalk another one up for eroids v google, indeed.

A lot of the info you find is peddled because some guru wants to clean your pockets with what ever he is selling, it's the new best thing. Medical and healthcare is the same way they skew things in the it favor by controlling the variables to come out looking how they want it to, but in reality it doesn't work that way. That's one reason you get this new drugs from pharma on the market approved by the FDA and then a year later it gets yanked because people are dropping like flies.
This is kinda related to this topic so I'll drop it here. Our healthcare is gone to shit over here in the USA because of this Obamacare. Doctors are jumping ship left and right. Just at the place I work for 4 left this month because all the administration is interested in is closing cases as fast as they can so they can get paid. It's all about the money anymore and your getting screwed out of healthcare, these doctors are either on board or jumping ship and a lot are quiting practice, because they want to help and treat people effectively.

I used google to try and come up with an answer and what do you know, it brought me right back here.

Oh the irony.

A lot of the stuff I share is a mixture of both. How does someone articulate how a GHRP and a GHRH are different? How does someone explain the chemistry of the body? If you are educating somebody on certain topics it is ok to add some factual scientific info to stage the frame work of your advice. But for usage advise or advice on side effects related to your own experience please have real world personal experience with the drug.

That's a great explanation of what the two aspects are for. For you non geeks, the chemistry / pharmacology is exactly where the search engine info becomes useful. unfortunately it's not being used like that in a lot of instances.Too many folks running around here giving advice on things they've researched on google and never touched.

What I find funny about Google is if you search for something steroid related most of the time the one of the first things listed is a link to something written about it on eroids

"Talk a lot about what you do know, dont try and talk about what you dont know" Great words of advice given to me by a colleague years ago. Applies in many different situations. Good post. Sometimes I find myself regurgitating information Ive gotten second or third hand before I realize what Ive done. Sometimes not engaging is the best course of action.
