Ok so I have been curious about this for a while, and I'm sure some others are as well. I did a search but couldn't find it either. Maybe I'm searching the wrong terms. Maybe I overlooked it. Or maybe I'm an idiot.
If my karma goes up a point or 2 or 8, how do I know WHERE the boost came from? Is there a way to check to see how or why you gained points? I'm asking because if it's from my advice and posts in the forums, I'd like to know so I can know HOW I am being helpful, and it may make it easier to connect with someone who found my post usefull. If not, life goes on, I've just been wondering this for a minute...

RustyhookerIt's actually good that folks don't know where the karma comes from in most instances. Next thing ya know few members clique up, karma whore and banned in public forum.

Yes that too. I lost a point a few weeks ago for the first time and had no clue why.
Unfortunately, there isn't an easy way to see it other than to search through your posts and see if someone acknowledged the bump with a comment.
Mods can review karma bumps and negs but we rarely look unless something looks fishy.
