CMON YOU CRAZY FUCKS! :/ If you lot are going to flood the sources pages every time new promo pops up for your 'UPDATE' reviews (because 50 of you all forgot to do it before now) please atleast put your usual amazingly average effort into it so it looks remotely acceptable.........
However take this as a warning peeps, not only will I not be accepting those shitty lazy ass promo reviews I'll grab karma depending on how bad it is. High Karma guys are under extra scrutiny especially around these time. If you have big points you should have been around long enough know how shit goes down.
*OH and I wanted to add we are Not looking for a 2000 word expertly knowledgable, well written essay as some of you think when we ask for an EDIT. No man, not at all. Be honest about your experience, some detail about your gains or losses, a bit on sides, just cover your bases and you'll be sweet. Speaking generally if you want to go into even more detail on reviews including facts,PR's, lbs,kgs bloodwork/labs,even pics will all score you extra points +++
Free Promos are a great way to get a small grasp on a sources service, quality, comms etc but they are rarely enough to even right a review so if that's the case,DON'T and don't sell your review short. It's the very basis of the site

letsgettropicalI refuse to write a review because a source gives away 10 days worth of gear.... Its simply not possible in my opinion to give a detailed honest review after such a short period of time...
I have participated in 2 free gear promos recently... The funny thing is... Both sources have successfully steered me away from ordering from their sites because of their shady behavior... Isn't it IRONIC...
How about to separate section for promo reviews. It could even be titled: " This Review Was Bought and Paid For".

I don't disagree but it is honestly impossible to keep everyone honest. At the end of the day a great majority of this comes down to the honor system. A lot of guys have it and operate by it but there are also a lot of guys totally devoid of honor. The trick for everyone is to learn to identify them.
Plus as much as they get abused promo's are still a valuable tool for sources and members alike. I bet most of you have found at least one source that you now buy from that you would have never used had you not tries one of their promo's first.
I haven't taken advantage of any promos from labs I've never shopped in, but if what the guys are saying below is true that there isn't enough product being provided by the sources these days to run long enough to evaluate, I'm not sure what the labs are trying to accomplish. The reviews can't be of any use almost by definition in such cases.
How about you make promos non reviewable. The source could still give away free gear to get new customers, they just wouldn't get a review of it. .... ............... If you don't buy anything, you can't review anything.
Looking at this from a source perspective, they have a difficult time as it is getting guys to review. Is it really fair to punish them for their own generosity?
I don't believe they're doing it out generosity, I think they're doing it to stack the reviews in their favor.

Of course, it is for their own benefit by hopefully vastly increasing sales. But if it fails they are still on the hook for it. Nothing is free.
Trust me, from a mod perspective it is a pain in the ass looking at 50 reviews for 20 dbol, lol

Seems as though the integrity of the reviews has dropped exponentially in these last 2 years. In saying that, I feel the MODs are doing a great job in weeding through the horseshit found on these review pages, although I find myself questioning any review I am seeing on a page regardless of karma or time on board, especially if a recent promo has been used. I remember when I took part in my first promo. The first thing the SRC asked me was to write a review.. It's like come on now, I understand they want to be on top of the leaderboard, but doing that completely screws this site's integrity and goal in the first place as a steroid review site.
When I saw this title, I thought it was talk about some new reality show "Promo Hunter"!!!
To my disappointment, it was just a bunch of straight talk and common sense. ;-)

RustyhookerIdiots shouldn't be allowed at all, ever to write reviews on promos. It keeps source reviews 100% false fake bunk and garbage.
You know they bust all 10 ' s just to get more free shit and it literally make our reviews a joke mockery. Sources know it's bought advertising. Those fake 10 stars screw up the entire review process.
All those bought votes should be fully deleted as far as ratings go. Take the points off those sources who are here working ya'll like a Dutch rudder!!
I'm still appalled after all these years and common sence that ANY source is allowed ANY type of customer appreciation crap. It 100% loads votes on their board.
All the normal goid sources show customer appreciation by simply tossing it into your order. How anyone can't see bought votes is nieve.

i agree here, i watched the top ten change over night due to stupid fucking reviews as a result of promo gear, like 50 dbol etc, certain sources are notorious for it, or the promos that state you must have purchased or left a review then booom- this is a long over due review for such and such blah blah blah, some members need to realise its just cheating everyone else to benefit themselves on a poxy few pills worth a couple of bux, ive always said it, gear users from eroids are spoilt, we have it easy compared to most when it comes to this game, its a community for reviews and knowledge, not a fkn selfish give me give me give me.......smh

Yes bro. Folk forget that eroids is first and foremost a source review site and accurate reviews are precious to the community. Promo gear maybe shouldn't even get reviewed, but I don't know technically how to prevent it.
RustyhookerPrevention is easy. Look at the same top source's every two week promo. "Promo for votes". Suddenly there's well over 25 new votes and all 10 stars given.
Same sources last promo said clearly the promo was only for folks over 7 karmas. That's directly because the karma needed to make 10 stars.
Rules need changed and enforced or votes will continually skew the reviews and standings.

Rustyhooker5 days worth of dbol. 3 lbs water gained. Could be estradiol tabs to do that.
4 years back all the sources flying a real promo of freebies at least gave enough for a proper review and testing. Dbol at LEAST 20+ days worth. Or a full 10 cc bottle of prop. 100 mg eod was plenty to do something right/wrong.
One source that got pinched hard was giving 5 cc prop and then demanding reviews. Lol! Mods bonked that one hard and quick
We are all interested in the experiences as you are. The issue here is the truthfulness of the review.
Nice write up. Just an idea, but maybe when you click on the review tab to make your review it could prompt you to this section so you have to see this before you start the review. Just a thought. I agree I hate weeding through all the shitty,incomplete and lazy reviews to try to obtain actual legitimate user knowlage.

I know eveyone likes to save a few quid ($/£) where possible and not just being part of this lifestyle but families, rent etc. I choose those battles carefully though. Bargain buying aas/related is not one of them. Not too mention (depending on your situation) you potentially could be putting your location at risk with these multiple freebie packs.
Lets say 4 or 5 different freebie packs?handful of times throughout the year? From several different countries? What ya got? Half an oral kickstarter, test prop taper and BIG FUCKING KNOCK AT THE DOOR!?

Interesting you mention the security of receiving packs. Last week I sent my nephew his birthday present, (Lego). When taking to the post office you now have to disclose exactly what it is even for internal UK mail. Shows you that they're scrutinising stuff more closely.....

Those promos are open to be abused and ofcourse, people abuse them. The source Can't force you to write a review the first time you 'opt in' for freebiees. However second time round members choose to go back for another 20x10mg tabs (IF) you left a review. When that second promo pops up It's like the fucking green code from the matrix running across the screen with NEW reviews from people who 'forgot' to review the last one equalling a bunch of shitty reviews.
