Dieting and not getting caught with your pants down

Over the last few years I've noticed the trick is to "not get caught with your pants down" so to speak with not having a meal prepped and being hungry...
Just curious if you vets have any tips or secrets on what you do to prevent this or deal with it if it happends.
Does that make sense?

Never be lazy to cook
There is really no secret, like Makwa said prepping is the key to succeed in this game. Every Sun and Wed I will cook for the week.
Tip: Always have almonds in your car
My whole entire saturday is spent cooking and prepping meals for the next week (I do make it to the gym however). Everything is weighed out so I know the calories/macros for each meal and I put it into a tupperware container. I bring a bunch of these to work and keep them in the fridge there also so that I have a meal ready whenever I need it.
