So I'm pretty nervous right now. I recently ordered some gear that appears to have shipped in three separate shipments. Shipment #1 came Saturday in my mail box no problem. However for shipment #2 I got one of those pink notices that said I can come pick it up at the post office or have it redelivered. It was also checked as registered mail, which requires a signature at time of delivery whether I have it redelivered or go get it myself. Shipment #1 did not require any kind of signature. I'm not sure what to do. Pick it up, have it redelivered, or just write it off. I really can't afford to write it off and order again.

i've been to the p o to pick up a package, and handed the lady the slip and she took 10 minutes in the back (usually takes 1-2 min) acting all suspicious and shit talking to different ppl then she finally came back and told me they can't find the package and told me to give her my number and she'll call me when she finds it.
she called the next day and said she found it, and asked what time i would be there to pick it up... haha, i anticipated a set-up that day, but nothing came of it. but if shit gets real, refuse to sign -- i've done it before when the mailman tried to deliver a package that clearly was marked with customs tape.
Finally got around to going to the PO. Like you guys said, no big deal. Ditched the envelope in one dumpster, the address labels and tracking number in another, and the goods will stay out of the house for at least a week. However, I did feel like an ass for taking my daughters to the PO with me haha, but it is what it is.

Man...I've got about 4 of those pink tickets last week from my ebc orders...nothing to worry about.

I get them all the time if I miss a deleviry , I go on line and pick a redelevery date i know , myself or someone will be there .
Ohh and this is all completely normal. It would be wise to use an phony ID if at all possible when ordering intl and use that name to order always. It isn't fool proof but it is another layer of protection. I have learned that nothing is fool proof. But the more layers you cover your ass with, the better off you are
Try to be more careful naming different couriers. We can all generalize and still know who you mean when you say P.O etc.
This is what p.O. delivery employee told me.
If at po: " Act surprised, look at it , shake the box as if you're trying to guess what is in it, do not open at p.o. , open in your car , ditch the box at nearest gas station"
If at your house: Same as above plus if delivery guy is not your regular guy, do not walk in the house with the package. Leave on front porch or if your trash can is right the put it in trash can. You can always get it later.
This is straight up from the delivery guy. He also said when popo does "controlled delivery" they always use one of their own.
I know it seems ridiculous but think about it like this , if you are a cop investigating mail crimes, google certain words in sequence, eroids won't be popping up on their radar because I flag and edit ppls shit when they post those words. PO tells us what you mean, but doesn't hand it to them on a silver platter.
i have the same notice. Is there any reason for concern? They missed me at home so, I think I'm overreacting too. Lol let me know how it goes SGT!

The P.O by my house make me sign for anything that ships international. I go pick up and sign for all my gear never had a Problem...

Alright thanks guys. I didn't find anything online about anyone getting busted for personal use amounts. It seems at the very worst it will contain a customs notice.

Trust me, you're fine. We all get these from overseas guys. Sometimes you have to sign sometimes you dont.

Was this an international order? I believe all of these orders require a signature. I got a pink slip once to go pick it up at the post office and was nervous as hell. I picked it up though and there was no problem at all. Kinda laughed at myself for being so worried about it afterward.

This is very true, but once you are in possession of an illegal item, you are responsible for it. The super cops out here will still do their thing and tell you to cry to the judge and let him sort the details. Possession is still 9/10th of the law right? Actually, where did that statement come from? I'm not sure exactly what it refers to. Best thing to do is learn all you can about how the PO does things, learn the faces of your neighborhood courier, and find little layers of protection as stated in my comment above. Then pray
The BrainIt was an old Scottish saying and referred mostly to land disputes. In theory this statement is valid but with a good lawyer , a competent defendant (keeping your fucking mouth shut) charges could be dismissed as long as they haven't built a case or found anything at the residence.
