Endo prescribed TRT

ad

Hey all,

I have posted in here before about this just following up. I started at 318 in sept and down to 285. Getting strength and stamina back in gym. Lost 4 in on the waist and 2 in back on the arms. Dr has prescribed 50mg a week trt for 6 months to try and help me get back into shape. Said I should be able to recover naturally after 6 months. This is where I am not sure. I dont really believe that. Im wondering if I should invest in some arimidex or hcg or will I not need it with 50mg a week. Also, my lvls are at 164 tt so I want to personally do at least 200 mg a week.

Popped my head back in to see what other lies this cat came up with. Didn't take long for that hammer to weed his ass out. Some people's children...

Greg's picture

No hammer... Just a gentle hand on his back as I escorted him to the door.

...not my fault he fell down the steps.

Doss's picture

Haha. I forget Vike has the hammer.

I almost bought into his story for a very brief second. But his facts weren't adding up.

Post the bloods please for all of us to see; I heard some fkn whoppers in my life and excuse me if it sounds skeptic especially if you are that overweight and a Doc says, "here is 50mg a week of Test for you to take to lose weight." WTF is that about? And on top of that you are talking about raising your dose; anyone that is unfamiliar would not go against his Doc like this. Doctor would have prescribed you a DIET and an exercise plan, not fkn AAS.

U need to continue with the dose the doc prescribed. Guarantee the next visit he will do blood work and raise your test dose if level are still low. If you up the dose your level will be higher and the doc want raise your test dose to where it needs to be. It will take more trips to the doc and more money to get u to where u need to be if u work against the doc. Plus u go in there with test levels out the top u r not going to get prescribe a higher weekly dose and or your doc will not prescribe you anymore test. Doc's aren't stupid and blood test don't lie. You would be surprised at how little of a increase in your dosage it takes to raise test levels in the body. I'm sure u have heard the term little dab will do you. So just stick with the program. The end results will be better for you.

Ok... Wait a sec... This thread started out with you being put on trt by your endo bc of low levels. Now, you're saying it's not even about that, it's about a short term thing so you can loose weight and get into better shape. I call bullshit.. Why don't you scratch this entire thread and come back with what you really are wanting/trying to do and cut out all the bullshit and fabricated crap.

You ain't gotta lie to kick it cuz

Do you need a slap upside the head? The path your doctor put you on is the best course.

You hear what you want to hear and disregard the rest...

So hear this,

Good-by. I wish you the best of luck

Greg's picture

Your're only 24... listen to your doctor.

The more you take the more you'll shut down your system. Don't be head strong and too eager.

Greg's picture

wtf is 50mg gonna do for my test levels?

It's going to keep you from being depressed and losing muscle.

Your doc is trying to get your natural levels up. Not shut you down completely. Plus, periodically, your doc will draw blood and adjust your dose accordingly. How's your plan going to work into that equation?

You seem want to shut yourself down for the "quick fix". Then what? What's the next step in your plan 6mo, 12mo, 10yrs, 50 yrs from now?

Greg's picture

I don't misunderstand. You're misreading. You very well might need it for the next 50 years if you keep going down the path you're taking.

The more you use the more you shut down. I'm not a fool and I know what you're trying to do. You're trying to use AAS as your silver bullet diet plan.

What you need is to follow the advice of your doctor and a good diet and exercise plan. And patience.

In your opinion?? When did you become the doctor?? What about your doctors opinion?

Wow that is the lowest TRT I have heard of. 50mg? Are you doing that in 1 or 2 shots?

I've never even seen cyp come in less than 200/ml. 50 mg a week is an extremely low dose for any therapy/supplementation protocol. I could break it down numerically for you, but instead I'll sum it up with this:

Ideally, your levels should be around 600 +/- on a blood panel. You're currently producing half or less, correct? When you start his conservative protocol, you will literally begin replacing almost the same amounts you're naturally producing with the synthetic version. Essentially just swapping it out. No true loss or gain will be achieved.

You sure he's got you in testosterone replacement, not an alternative?

Well, "dude", I've been on TRT for a couple years and since the first consult, I knew exactly what I was being prescribed. Good luck to ya pal

Doss's picture

Not the same.. Don't release the same. Different half life's. Used differently for treatment. In fact, the strength you claim is in the vial is unheard of. I think you're fabricating this story in order to skate past the norm here, which is under 25 no help. Personally, I'd rather help but it is what it is.

Good luck to you. I'm out

The fact that you make those statements proves your lack of know legs and understanding.

Doss's picture

How old are you? Really?

Greg's picture

1 carbon difference in the ester is not a huge difference

it is in the long run.

50mg a week of what?
