Update on my Low T
Hi guys,
I posted on here last month after a low t blood panel.
I took the advice of many went on a low carb high protein diet, no soda no processed sugar of any kind and 30 mins HIIT on the elyptical and started lifting again 5 days a week.
Sept 22 my TT was 124. I was 308.6lbs
Oct 15 my TT is 163, FT 4.93 Bio T 123.3
FsH 1.1 Prolactin 8.92 A1C 5.8 LH 2.0
And Im down to 293 ish lbs lost 2 in. in the waist and put 2 in. on the biceps.
Below is just a thought, not set in stone so dont jump all over me if you disagree just gvie me your opinion its much appreciated.
I just thought I'd give an update Im still considering seeing if the Doc will give me a script for test injects to speed things up a lil bit which she said should be no prob, I have adex and nolva on hand and am thinking maybe 12 weeks test Cyp @300-400 mg a week with adex .5mg e3d and maybe get some hcg but not sure I need it but better to have it just in case. Im debating if I wanna do a TRT dose or a lower cycle dose. I am eating clean again and am not prone to gyno, just acne. Any more advice is appreciated.

Iron_MonkYoure only 24?
Id hold off on the Test for a year or two and see how far you can get natty. Test wont burn copious amounts of fat. Its very slight. Cardio and diet is where you should focus brother.
Talk to your doc more to see if trt is right for you or even necessary.
Good luck mate
deluca72Yes and my Dr made it clear my low T was from being fat and not from using AAS when I played sports. I am not shut down etc and all I need to do is lose weight and get back to where I was when I was 18 and Ill be fine. Im just saying even though I got my levels to go up naturally I still feel like shit at a TT of 163. Its hard to stay focused in the gym and Im starting to plateau a bit. Im starting to get my muscle memory back but when I was lifting regularly I was 245lbs bench 330 squat 600 DL 700 and I feel like I probably wont ever touch those numbers again lol
Iron_MonkThose are decent numbers mate. You can be that strong again.
But I feel for your situation. I struggled with weight loss before too....
I prob shouldn't give you advice being 24....but if I were you id be using hgh instead of test for a myriad of reasons we'll discuss in PM....FR sent mate.
Gh will help your fat loss and quality of life without forcing you to balance estro and worrying about pct and coming off since your situation requires long term action...
deluca72Thats where it gets tricky. I wanted to do a low dose cycle like 250-300mg a week of cyp and I have adex and nolva on hand. Do adex 1mg a week to keep water down and estro. Then pct after 12 weeks with nolva and maybe hcg. But idk truly how I wanna do it. I know I can lose the weight naturally but if insurance will pay for 10 or 20 ml of cyp for 40 bucks why not take it and keep dieting
Iron_MonkTrt and a low dose cycle are very different brother.
Id drop the test cycle idea all together.
Also your low t can be fixed without using injectable test.
When you loss the weight your natty t will go up. Your not hypogonadal right? So your low t is from bad habits and the weight both of which can be fixed without AAS.
If you really really want extra help-hgh is the safer bet.
deluca72Yes it is from poor diet and no exercise i am not hypogonadal. I just dont know If I can afford HGH to be honest with you
hgh is a horrible idea and especially if you already have a poor diet and exercise and yes it is very expensive and widely faked.. diet alone will get rid of your fat and some exercise will just speed that process up!! what you're doing now with taking a step into the gym and dieting is great and I would stay the hell away from anything until you get your body fat down and retest
Iron_MonkIt is rather expensive.
But understand test or any AAS is not gonna give you anything permanent.
At this age your hormones are optimal. If you damage your endocrine system the weight will come back after your cycle but would be much harder to get rid of.
Talk with your doctor about your thyroid as well.
In the mean time start dosing magnesium glutamine carnitine zinc and b12 like a madman. This will boost your metabolism a bit and aid your recovery.
What do your cholesterol/triglycerides look like? No offense, but if you are obese you may actually increase your risk for a stroke and/or heart attack by going over your trt dose. Just food for thought. Look into how testosterone affects lipids.
deluca72My cholesterol and lipids are perfectly normal. My only "bad" blood panel is my ALT liver function is 80. I know Im overweight but I am not unhealthy my only health issue is my low T. I do not have high blood pressure and my sugar is perfect. I have changed my physique alot in a month and Im just hungry all the time and only eating 1500 or 1800 cals isnt gonna help me keep muscle on. I agree maybe I should stick to 200mg a week max, but I just want to feel normal again and get back into shape.
1500-1800 calories is extremely low for a 290lb male, I mean wayyy to low. I have a female who's diet i do and I have her on 2000 cals and she's losing weight and sshes like 130lbs. Based of my calculations an these are just a guiide an aggreasive deficit puts you at 2700 cals, a reckless deficit of 25% under maintenance puts you at 2500. Where your at now at 1500 puts you at more then 50% below maintenance. That's insane, unnecessary and unsustainable.
deluca72Yes it sucks but Its working but I dont know how to force myself to eat more protein. I eat eggs and wheat toast 8am, protein shake at 10, turkey on wheat with spinach at 12 ish, protein again at 2 or 3, dinner after the gym around 6 is usually 3 chicken breasts and rice
Up your good fats. Add some nuts olive oil mac oil shit like that. Your calories are way to low your just asking to plateau and where do you go at thay point? You can go any lower.
deluca72Thats what is happening im fatigued at the gym
Edit: you're 24?! Low T? That's another animal all together my friend. Work with your doctor.
deluca72Okay that souns good. Im keeping it to 100 carbs a day and doin rice protein 2 times a day. The cardio Is HIIT everyday. I will see how it goes.Thank you for the input.
