+ 2 WHAT TO DO WHEN YOUR PICS COME OUT UPSIDE DOWN OR SIDEWAYS

ad

I have always had problems when I take a pic with my smart phone and submit it. It comes out upside down or sideways more often than not. What I have found that works is to go to my gallery on my phone and crop the pic and repost it. If this doesnt work I keep croppi g the pic a bit more till it posts correct.

I send them to my email, then if they are sideways when I open them I rotate them before I save. But I have noticed the pics I have to edit my face out of are always turned the right way when I email them...it's the ones I don't edit that are sideways.

The problem is how your mobile device saves the data, 90 degrees out of rotation I know it is lame. You must wait for the future or deal with rotation on a tab or pc b4 uploading. When you take a pic it is stored on a mobile device at a random rotation which does not work so well for us with our feet on the ground. The future is ours.

Samsung Galaxy S5... FTW!

Whoa, don't go all True Grit on me. I prefer my Galaxy to the iPhone. Just my opinion.

Back in the day when I was posting pics.... If they didn't load right I would just rotate it a few times and it would work... However, I love the head turned sideways, monkey doing a math problem look while trying to view pics

I have a Galaxy S4. If a pic comes out sideways, I can long hold it in the gallery and it allows me to rotate it

So what you're saying is all the time I've been tilting my head I didn't need to? Does that include hanging upside down? Someone could have told me sooner.....

I had to do old school and take the photos, send them to my email and then get on the computer and upload them.Of course with the ability to rotate on the computer. Who really uses cameras anymore, when we have bad ass smart phones. Lol

I upload them to my lap top first. They're too big on my phone anyway to upload. Mine need to be compressed.

I miss those upside down or sideways pics. They were your trademark.

What I do on my iPhone is I take the picture, then go and hit edit, rotate it 90 degrees and save it, then go back in and edit one more time flipping back around to where it's supposed to be, save it again. Then post it up. It works for me.
