Has D.C the potential to beat jones ?
Is D.C wrestling good enogh to keep up with Jones ?
My persuasion is that Jones is a beast, he displays the best wrestling in the whole MMA game.
I know D.C is was an olympian wrestler and yes i know he beats Henderson in a stunning match.
But i stick with Jones couse his thaiboxing and wild style is very unique and hard to handle.
What are you thinkin about matchup between these 2 lions on the Jan. 3, 2015 !!!!!

TronEvery fighter can win on any day at any moment. A simple mistake or stroke of luck can change the fight in a heartbeat. I wanted to see Gus fuck jones up myself. When presented with the contract Gus signed immediately and Jones avoided signing as long as he could until he was pressured into it by everyone. I'm not saying Jones is afraid of Gus but I think he knows out of all the fighters in the LHW devision Gus is his main threat. I read on the bleacher report that anthony johnson is calling out Gus but personally I think Gus should get first shot at the winner of the fight. Do I think DC can beat Jones??? I think he can but not sure if that's the way it will play out. There is a lot of emotion in this fight and a lot of bad blood. It is also the first time Cormier will fight for a title in the UFC. That in itself is a lot of pressure and along with all the hype and bad blood as well as Jones being in DC's head I'm not sure that is a good recipe for a win. However, Jones is on a very very long winning streak and that in itself is pressure as well. He knows he cant stay on top forever and Jones has never faced anyone that has gotten under his skin like DC. I call Jones wins by a controversial decision.

think that cormier ( if jones is on top of his game) dont get a lot of opportunities to get a takedown.
thats why i believe jones gonna break him with his thai skills.

After the gus vs jones fight, jones knew immediantely what a skilled guy gus is.
i think gus was the first guy who droped jones that often in a bout, even thogh gus stand up

Dc beat An old and run down Dan henderson...gustafsson deserved the fight He damn near beat him last time....Jones is a prima madonna and dc is over hyped...talented yes could whoop my ass yes deserve a title shot over gustafsson No.....But with that said I give it to jones by unanimous decision

true that on hendos age, but hendos wrestling creditionals are still fucing serious and to get man handled like that show where dc level of wrestlings at. He is hyped to shit but he was wins over some big HW names in mma too not just hendo you got Barnett, Palelei, Mir, Jeff Monsopn, nelson... Antonio Silva. A gustafsson rematch would have been sick and probably will eventually happen anyways but dude got hurt and lost his spot in line, sucks that jones got hurt now too butt it is what it is.

i didnt say top contenders i said big names. thats usually how it works out with the old in with the new. Corrmier has good wins over past contenders you cant deny that hes built a resume of big names he didnt fight a bunch of no names to buld a record he fought serious vets and should have a title shot.

Yeah the hype was ridiculous around this fight. And the fighters didnt help much either theirs some serious hate going on. White is the white Don King, hypes everything to shit and pays his fighters shit. There was actually a article out i think today that had dana on a list titled something like "the scummiest people in sports." lol ill try to find a link

jones has some of the best wrestiling in mma but dc has some of the best wrestling in the fucking world. I nearly shit when he tossed hendo over his head. And his boxing has gotten better and better. But at the end of the day jones has a resume of taking out a whos who of legends. Who do i think will win? if i was throwing money at it, jones. Who would i want to win DC all day. And if they put silva vs diaz on that card too i think my head will explode.
