+ 11 My TB 500 Experience so far

ad

I started using TB 500 because I am constantly having issues with injury. Strained pecs, rather severely pulled groin, and I also have a seperated Ulnar Cord and Ulnar nerve in my left elbow. So basically I have a broken funny bone. I had an MRI and that was the results. I am currently on week 3 of the loading period. I am injecting 5 mgs a week for six weeks then plan to drop to 5 mgs a month at 2.5 mgs every other week.
Results so far are hard to tell. I have not trained chest for three weeks because I pulled/strained a pec 3 times in 7 weeks so I am trying to give them a rest while the TB does it's work. I also have not done any squats or leg press for 3 weeks due to the pulled groin because it still hurts a little and I can feel it sometimes just walking up steps. I hate not benching and squating it kills me inside. Those are my two favorite lifts and I feel incomplete not doing them. It is so hard to take time off to heal but is important that I do. I wanna be in this game for the long run. I will continue to update with results. I want feedback. I want to hear other peoples results and experiences. I tried asking with a generic help me post and got nothing. Hopefully this will draw more attention. I know I am new here and I have a negative Karma but I am trying to learn and grow and be the best I can be in this game. I read reviews and posts and forum pages for about a month before I even signed up to to be able to post. I have respect for this game and all you soldiers that do battle every day in the gym.

Yeah that is to be expected in this game.

Week 6 day one. Pinned my 6th 5mg injection taking my total up to 30 mgs. I am feeling good not great. I did back and bis tonight and I felt great. I felt no strain in my left elbow as I pulled all my sets for back. I then went on to biceps and again went up in weight from last week. Each set felt smoother and than the last. I got a great pump with minimal pain.
I once again tried to stretch out my groin on the abduct/adduct machine but could not because I immediately felt that pinching strain. I am frustrated but still optimistic.

Week 5 day six. Did chest today incline db press felt strong at 85lb 4X12. Then went to incline bench 225 4X12. Decline 3x12 with 225. Then did an assortment of flys all 10-16 reps. I felt no pain felt high stamina and got a great pump. I'm hungry for heavier weight but I am doing well staying on path so far.

Tomorrow will be week 6 injection.

Did 9 sets of biceps last night after I finished killin back. I went in the 10-12 rep range still not heavy weights but a little heavier than Friday. I felt some pinching in my elbow and some pressure but I fought through it. Woke up today with very sore bracialis. Really considering spot injection of TB 500 at this point. Anyone have any experience with that?
I also attempted to use the abduction/adduction machine to try to stretch my groin a little but it felt uncomfortable on the first rep so I stopped. I'd like to hear about some techniques to stretch or rehab my groin. Would love it if someone had some info on it.

Personally I've never used it so I can't give you advice about spot injections. How's the Pec and groin doing? You think the tb is working yet?

legendinthemaikng's picture

My pecs feel better. I have not tested them heavy weight but I am taking it slow. Db incline at 85 for 12-15. Is the heaviest I have went on it. As for my groin I don't think it has healed much yet but it was really bad. I wanna start rehabbing it and stretching it prolly Monday.

Just take it nice and easy man. Dont wanna rush it and make it worse. Im seriously considering this stuff after my cycle for my shoulders. I would love to atleast be somewhat pain free during a workout for once in my life

legendinthemaikng's picture

I would not say pain free just more tolerable atleast so far. I don't think pain free exists in this game. I def can tell a difference though I am gonna keep loading for a total of 10 weeks then cruise.

legendinthemaikng's picture

Pinned my week 5 dose today making my total 25 mgs. I am really hoping for significant healing in the next few weeks. When I get up this evening I will be heading in to train back and biceps. Can't wait to pull some fuckin iron!

Week 4 day six. Did chest again today. I felt great throughout my workout. Stamina seems to be elevated not sure if that is related to the TB 500 or not??? Anyone know if that's a side effect?
I started out on incline db press up to 85's for 12 reps on each set slow and controlled. No pain in the elbow or pinching in the pecs. I then went to incline bench and stayed light at 185 for sets of 15. Followed by decline pause sets of 185 for 15 reps each set. Then did db flys and cable flys. I felt amazing physically. Mentally I felt kinda shitty because I am not used to going light. I got a hell of a pump though. I think I am on the way back to 100%. Tomorrow will be my 5th injection and will put me up to 25mgs total.
Is anyone following this? I guess even if no one is it's helping me.

Did biceps again yesterday and felt a little more progress. I stayed in the 10-15 rep range but went a little heavier. I also threw in some preacher curls with full range if motion and they stressed my elbow a little worse than the other movements. I started doing 3/4 reps and they felt better. It felt great to get a bicep pump after going so long without one. I also did close grip bench and had no issues with my pecs. I know close grip puts less strain on them but I have had that rubber band snapping feeling a few times on it on the negative. I think the TB 500 is doing work. I am strongly considering extending my loading period up to ten weeks. I am going to order more tomorrow afternoon.

Did back today and killed it like usual. I decided to throw in some biceps and it was a success. It is the first time I have been able to do any sort of bicep curls in a long time. I got suck a great pump. I had a little bit of pain but nothing like it had been previously the last time I tried. I stayed in the 12-15 rep range and did nice slow concentrated reps. It felt great. I am liking the TB 500 so far for sure.

Just pinned my week 4 dose. That makes 20mg total I have injected. I am hoping for big results this week.

I hit the gym today 1 day before my week 4 injection. I decided to go ahead and attempt to chest. It was a success. I got a great pump for the first time in weeks. I stayed light weight 12-15 rep range squeezing each rep and focusing on time under tension. I did incline db flat db decline barbell incline hammer strength and pec dec. I felt no strains no pulls no snapping runner band sensations. I am pleased with my results so far. I also felt loose in my elbow. No joint pain. I can still tell that my groin is prolly only 50-60% but it was injured pretty severely so I understand it will take longer. More to come.

Injurys suck so bad man. I have chronic shoulder problems and back problems so I feel your pain. I was out for 3 months over the winter and lost 15lbs of muscle and gained some fat and spend the whole spring working to gain it back instead of adding new muscle and getting bigger like it seems everyone else gets to do. Since there I've had to alter some things in my training. First my warmups are really long and thorough. And now instead of grabbing the 100lb dumbells and throwing them up for 6-8 I'll grab the 70-75s and do nice slow reps for 10-15 and really try to feel every part of the rep. Suprisingly I've had much better muscle development since I dropped the weight and really focused on feeling the contraction. I still go pretty heavy on back and legs but chest and shoulders I go light and keep reps high. You might wanna think about doing the same thing. It's useless to make great gains for 6 months them get hurt and spend 3 months out of the gym losing all progess and dreaming about lifting again. Leaving the ego in the locker room is hard to do and it's frustrating sometimes lifting light weights but at the end of the day Im in this to build my physique, not powerlift.

I've been really interested in tb500 for my shoulders tho. Might look into it sooner or later. Keep us updated on how it works.

legendinthemaikng's picture

Yeah I have dropped my weight down and upped my rep range. I have a powerlifting back ground but I am trying to cross over into body building. I have slowed my reps down trying to concentrate on time under tension it seems my injuries just changed. I used to hurt my shoulders from heavy explosive bench reps. Now that I focus on time under tension it is more like a rubber band snapping deep in my pecs toward the armpit on the negative portion of the rep. I have been doin 315-335 range for 8-10 reps nice and slow and concentrated. You think going for 10-15 range will be just as good if not better for size and development?

irongame427's picture

I mean were all different but 11-15 is generally accepted as pure size rep range . I also started using a lot more plate loaded machines. Up until last week my chest day would look like this
Incline db 10-12
Flat db 10-12
Flat/incline hammer str machine 12-15
Incline cable flys 12-15
Pec dec 15-20
Sometimes the only free weight moment I do for chest is inline db or bb

I used do do like incline 4-6 flat 6-8 and never go higher then 12 and my chest was always a serious weak point for me. Ever since changing it up it's filled in more then I ever could have imagined the last 4-5 months despite lifting much less weight. Form, and that mind muscle connection is everything in bodybuilding. Making sure you feel every part of the rep and squeeze the hell out of it at the top. I defintely miss lifting heavier but I'm sure at some point the 100s will feel light to me where I can lift them for 12 slow ass controlled reps.

I'm gonna put this to the test. Thanks a lot man. I am gonna keep this post up and update it frequently.
