Okay the movie limitless got me thinking is there any drugs that make you more intelligent?
Like steroids for the mind metaphorically speaking.

I've used provigil it is great for concentration but it does not give me the get up I need. I work a very physical job and sometimes I need a little extra energy. So adderall is my go to.
Same here I'm in finance and that's my go to but it's gotten hard to find legit dr
I have a script. I ordered some online back in the day it looked real but it wasn't . So I don't go that route anymore.
Yea that's the route to go..only thing is I don't like how people look at you when they know you take it..has a bad rap which is deserved for the most part
I'm currently studying for the MCAT and I use provigil + noopept + piraracetam + choline for studying. Really helps since you need high levels of endurance when studying 7-9hours + a day.
Again just like gear, it's no use unless you put in the work. Also do your research, if not you could end up with a headache and/or chronic migraines/ acute vertigo/ random LOC/etc...
Also to those who are running gear, don't take the precursor to provigil, armodafinil, since it strains the liver. You don't want another toxic chem while running orals/injec's
If any one wants to try a good stack of nootropics:
-200mg/100mg ED Modafinil (half life is like 12-16hours, so make sure you take it accordingly or else your sleep will be fuked up.)
-30-40mg/day noopept
-300mg Alpha GPC (better quality choline source)
-any racetam (pira-, phenyl, oxi-, etc) for long term use.
I've had experience with Provigil and really wasn't impressed. It was almost like a cleaner caffeine. Woke you up but I never got the jitters and never got the crash that you get with caffeine(which is a good thing). Don't get me wrong, it was good but it was hard to get and expensive. I'd much rather have adderall or Ritalin
Have been prescribed a few for narcolepsy over the years. Nuvigil and provigil worked great for a short time, but my body adapted to them almost immediately and I was falling asleep at my desk regularly. They had a unique effect in that they didn't give me energy in the way that a large dose of caffeine or ephedra does. It was like a small push to my consciousness. It wasn't overwhelming by any means, but it certainly got the job done while it lasted. After they lost their effect I was placed on Ritalin which is a completely different animal. The stuff gives me extreme focus when I'm faced with an activity or a problem at work, but it also can make me a zombie when I'm just relaxing and it makes it hard for me to relate at times with my wife and son. I must say that these drugs are in a completely different class than aas and should be treated accordingly. Brain chemistry is it something I am not comfortable toying with. I have an extensive review that I have not posted yet for Provigil. It is the closest thing I believe to what the movie portrays. An amazing drug indeed

AnonI was looking into using it because I hate having to use Rx amphs for school. Or anything that requires much attention really. Quick tolerance and it ends up effecting you emotionally (obviously) after only weeks even, and that's when used "properly". Supplement with all the neurochemical pre-cursors you want ( I did ) that helps of course, but it still catches up to you. I don't take it unless I have to, specifically for school completely off for summer, it's not something I enjoy. You can't drink coffee to get through 16 damn credit hours as a Science major, at least I can't anyways. I have legitimate ADD that is often debilitating I'm just flat out not willing to become dependent on meds to function at all. I used to fail or barely pass relatively easy classes for no reason really or be unable to learn despite really trying quit school because of it when younger. Then I came back later & since I started using these I've yet to get less than an A in any class I've taken. Turns out I'm actually not stupid…. which is what I thought when I was younger lol.

pretty sure that movie is referring to modafinil or provigil there is also a newer version nuvigil or armodafinil it is not scheduled and you can get it from a doc if you work odd shifts to remain alert as an example but it is not a stimulant like the other suggestions
there's at least one international source that carries it but I'd do some research first like everything it has it's fair share of sides and stopping it after prolonged use is suppose to be pretty rough, a rebound effect like many things out there, do some research on it and decide for yourself.
A possibly safer option is to take noopept combined with a quality choline, I personally take this combination off and on. To my understanding noopept was created and is used in russia over the counter but considered a medicine for the treatment of alcohol induced brain damage. In individuals that have not binged drank holes in there brain it gives a bit of a cognitive boost that builds over time and doesn't go away or worse like with modafinil lead to impaired function. I've tried other nootropics but noopept with choline is by far superior IMO. Noopept depletes your brains choline levels so it is important to pair it with choline to prevent a headache unless you just like that sort of thing. If pairing with a low quality choline like bitartrate you will need 1-2 grams I believe.
One other idea I'll throw out there is I also notice an improvement in mental function when taking caber guess that kinda makes sense though since it was once an alzheimer medicine before it was known that higher dosages could lead to heart valve issues. my thought is it's a dopamine aganist which dopamine plays a role in memory, and that a person without alzheimers might be able to see an improvement in mental function/memory at lower dosages like those taken to combat prolactin sides.
I think this was actually played with in a scientific study. But it ended with test subjects developing serious mental instabilities. Something to do with altering the latent inhibition of a persons awareness. I was actually prescribed ritalin because I have a substantially lowered latent inhibition. Which is odd because ritalin makes you focus. And I was already very focused. But my problem is I focus on a lot of different shit all at once. And the thing I should be focusing on, I don't focus on. Ones latent inhibition is kind of a filter in your brain, that blocks out all the random incoming stimuli in your environment. People with lowered latent inhibition have a hard time filtering that stimuli, which in most cases leads to insanity like schizophrenia. But in the mind of a person with a high I.Q. it can lead to brilliance. Not saying I'm a genius but I'm also not schizophrenic. Lol. But for me it manifests in the form of obsessiveness over any given topic or interest. Like reading dozens of articles about something, or becoming interested in a tv show and then watching every episode in a week on Netflix. Or bodybuilding! Very weird. But it beats the looney bin.

but hard work and the right drugs/anabolics will get you the best results :-P

It's nothing more than a dopamine depleting stimulant that will make you no more intelligent or use your preexisting intelligence any more efficiently. It's a dangerous amphetamine. You may figure out how to take your TV apart on it but won't be able to put it back together. That's for damn sure.
