FIRST TIME ASS PUMP

THAT'S RIGHT ASS PUMP!! So i have been dieting and running low dose test and working out 3-4 times a wek for almost a year. I lift very early in the am at a 24 hour gym and always alone because i was ashamed of how out of shape i have allowed myself to become. So i have made some progress and once you start to really see a change in your body and others start to notice you want to get more serious. All of you can remember i am sure! So i got a friend who has been serious into fitness for ever he is mostly a cross fit guy (no-homo) but he has alot of knowledge about lifting as well. So i called him up told him what has been happening in my life the past year and asked if he could come help me fine tune my program...little did i know i had no program! lmao So yesterday morning i snuck him into my gym ( i am sure i will get an email about unauthorized guests this week) and he said we start at the bottom legs. ok my routine ..squats , leg presses and calf raises DONE!...First thing he does is drop my weight almost in half and has me do sets of 10-8-6-4...going slow as can be and deep as i can....he shows me a few modified exercises and tells me form is more important than poundage at this point!....so the last thing he has me do is super deep ass almost touching the ground squats with 2 plates and a bar slow and steady until failure....and THEN IT HAPPENED...MY GLUTES WERE PUMPED...and they are small and there is alot more fat in the ass than i would have thought and i realize now a 1 1/2 in needle is truly necessary to hit muscle. but i know what the glute pump feels like and i like it ("NO-HOMO) he is gonna get with me the next four sundays and put me a true program together and no i cannot really walk today but i hobble well...and YES I HAVE A NEW AND PROFOUND RESPECT, AND ADMIRATION FOR WHAT YOU "MONSTERS OF EROIDS" DO TO GET WHERE YOU ARE...BUT GUESS WHAT FELLAS.........I AM COMING .......STAY STRONG AND LIVE LIFE

It was hard to get through the title without giggling! ...lol.Dont know why but it made me think of "men on film" from the show in living colour with damon wayans and david allen grier. Sure some older fellas know what im talkin about...lmao

Yes when it comes to squats form matters most. Depth over weight, or ass to grass as they say ;)

That's really cool that he's willing to do that. If you want a crazy glute/quad pump try some Bulgarian split squats - do low weight, 15 reps x 4. I guarantee you will be hurting the next day.
