New gear opened, top of bottle is wet pooling with liquid, is this safe/sterile?

I just opened a bottle of NPP from a top source that I got a little over a year ago. When I pulled the plastic cap off, the rubber stopper had a pool of the liquid on top. I assume that this is no longer sterile, if the liquid can seep out, bacteria could get in right? I actually pulled the top off of another bottle I was going to use for this cycle and same thing. Looks like I may have to scrap this cycle. Anyways, please advise. Do you think I should toss this stuff, or have others experienced this?

A training buddy was at my house last week hanging out after training, and I receive a cracked vial of test-p, so I took a picture to show the source and then I tossed it out, later I went to the trash, I thought the picture wasn't clear enough and the vial was GONE! I really hope he isn't going to pin a cracked vial of test-p out of my trashcan. The same person I'm referring too, we were out eating about two months ago and he got up walked over to this families table that had just left and grabbed a half eaten steak off their plates and brought it back to the table, saying "what? its free protein" I couldn't stop laughing... funny thing about it, the family wasn't even out the door yet, had to pay the bill LOL... moral of the story, NO don't pin it toss it out.
the only thing you left out of the story is he lives at the homeless shelter!....

For your safety toss them. Just dont ask if anybody has used them before like that! lots of times....and dont ask if the entire top has come before and oil spilled out, yep used that too....higher risk? sure it is!
But dont do it cause I did!
I also note that many people will say to throw anything away that touches air, and i have to admit this is kinda confusing to me considering i inject air into the bottle EVERY TIME before i pull oil into barrel.
I would question the sterility of the product.

You can sterilize anything just by running it through a 0.20 μm syringe filter. You don't need to heat anything.

I had the same problem with a certain source; each one I got had the same problem, I would flip it over and the oil would literally start dribbling out of the seal between the rubber and metal. I did not chance it and tossed them in the trash, told source about it and received no response. In my opinion it has been compromised and should be chucked in the trash. Flip the gear over; if it drips then too then toss.

not telling you to use it, but sometimes when i go to grab my gear to load my shots up, i will seem to have a little bit of oil on top of the stoppers sometimes, i just wipe it off to make sterile and its fine... not sure if thats what your talking about though

Throw away and deal with your loss. I think I know what source this was because a lot of peeps had trouble including my self.
Sketchy. I wouldn't pin it personally. Where was it kept? Is there a chance it could just be moisture sitting atop the vial caught by the flip top? I'd say if you have access to an autoclave you could maybe run it through and salvage it? Its worth looking into to save all that cash, and your cycle. Otherwise don't risk it. Scary.
Im guessing the autoclave would sterilize the contents as well as the outside of the bottle? It might be a good idea to have one and run all our gear through it if thats the case! Good info bro! Lookin ti see how much for a small one.
There's a few more steps involved though, its not just throwing vials in the autoclave and presto change-o magic sterile gear. But its simple enough to do on your own if you have half a brain.

I store all my gear in the back of a safe, inside the house so it stays pretty cool. It is definitely the same color as the NPP in the bottle, so It seems like it has either seeped out, or it is residual oil from when it was filled originally, but I have never had any other bottle of gear have this issue before in the past. I'd prefer to lose the money rather than inject something thats not clean and deal with infection. Im not familiar with sterilizing gear, but Ill take a look at an autoclave and see if its worth trying to salvage. Thanks for the advice.
That's really strange.
You can get small Autoclaves online at a fair price. Its worth investing in one if you're going to be buying ugl gear habitually. You never know when one might have a little sneaky germ waiting to eat your quad right off the bone. I have all my gear autoclaved by a friend who actually brews his own. Keeps my mind at peace.
