I don't think much of this thread. It's petty from more than just the OP. I'm proud to be an American. I think most are but I can occasionally be that asshat. I'm pretty sure we all have been at 1 time or another no matter what country you're from. It's called being human. Racism is a touchy subject for a lot of people. Not me I'm a typical American Heinz 57. I'm German, Irish, American Indian, and African American. These are just the ones I know. That's why I check other on job applications. Most Americans are some sorta mix. The whole racism thing used to be considered ignorance but you can't claim that anymore. It's just plain stupid and mean. I know this will blow over because Eroids is sort of a family and stupid things like this will happen. It's inevitable. Some people are more sensitive than others so this should be considered also before we open our mouths and say something off color or considered not politically correct. So let's pull up our big boy pants and move on like any other family would do.....

I see that my humor doesn't seem to translate over to the underside of the earth. This post was Meant completely as a joke, no disrespect was intended whatsoever. In my ignorance I did not know that the word "mate" was something sacred enough in your culture that it can't be joked about. I figured it was something similar to "bro" or "dude" or "homie" in our culture.
If it is something more than that, well I apologize. The joke was in ignorance and I meant nothing by it. I may not have traveled to as many places in the world as you, but from my travels in the western hemisphere I have found the people to be very friendly towards us and most of them still want to come here. Is our government fucked and getting more fucked by the day? Most definitely. But brother I have a hard time believing that you truly feel we are the "asshats" of the world. America and Americans are far from perfect but I feel blessed to have been born here.
