2 Gym Or Not 2 Gym

ad

So these days you wouldn't believe how great my workouts are going lately. I'm really blasting my muscles, sweating intensely and holding in my stomach when doing my exercises. This is really important to pull in your abs throughout the gym routine. Also get that cardio in, its a must.

So like I aforementioned things really are progressing daily for myself. I'm seeing results within my body and strength department. Endurance and stamina are up tenfold as well.

My question is this, how many of you actually struggle with taking a day off and doing nothing gym related? It's so tough not wanting to go to the gym. I mean I'm so caught up within my results, there's always some pretty lady there, and it's contagious seeing others push themselves.

As today was a off day for me, my body surely must appreciate the rest even though mentally I feel as if I should of went. I'm so looking forward to pushing my chest tomorrow and getting that cardio in. Guys and gals do your thang, push yourselves, increase your intensity, keep that stomach pulled in, achieve.....

well.. theres a long term debate about this.. I think whether geared up or not, with proper nutrition or not, you should let your body rest one day per week.
Ive tried working out 7 days a week for a month and my body didn't grow like I thought it would with that extra day or two per week.
I feel a lot stronger in the gym the day after a rest day. that should say something in its own. my 2 cents.

give your body a well deserved break my man. Go lady shopping aka hit up the mall and mean mug every woman you see. no im kidding don't do that. you could come to Louisiana and go fishin on a sunday. that's kind of like a workout. especially with the big tuna In the gulf.

If you are getting adequate food and nutrition, your body should be able to handle the constant work outs.
You'll know when to rest when you're not getting the results that you want.

Yeah feels like your day has gone to waste I can honestly say life is boring without the gym

It surely can be especially when you live where it's crappy weather and have lagging internet on Sundays

That is a good day to rest indeed. PIP also can add some rest days into the mix as well but those are excusable. Stay fit...

One day it had me walking on my tippy toes that PIP, I said I was trying to focus more on my calves when someone asked. You have to stay one step ahead of the game.....

It is nice to rest after leg day.

It truly is but I've lately been blasting through leg days and taking names and right back at it. I hit ny legs hard as well, I'm talking 3 sets of 30 leg extensions (not kiddie weight) 500lb squats, etc. Stay fit...
