Here is a method you may want to consider. Towards the end of the post I mention how it can be used as a cutting diet.
https://www.eroids.com/forum/general/general-talk/i-know-my-bmr%E2%80%A6...
Time in the gym with cardio and diet should be no problem to lose that amount of BF within that timeframe.
FR me if you need anymore help
Of course, 20 weeks is a long time. He only has to lose 1.35lbs a week, should be cake. Like really really fucking easy. Am I doing the math wrong 27 pounds in 20 weeks shouldn't be a challenge for an over weight person. Cardio and a minor deficit should do it.
BetterOnTopRegardless of what anyone else says follow these steps and I guarantee your boy to lose 10%bf by july. About 25lbs of fat in over 4 and a half months is a piece of cake. Not sure what your boys running but gear will definitely make this easy task even easier.
Step 1 get a food scale. Keep calories and training the exact same for 2 weeks. If he gained weight his caloric intake was to high and or his energy output was to low. So you need to raise or lower one or the other. Monitor his weight from week to week and adjust accordingly. Make sure every 3-4 days he ups his calories by 100 to reassure his metabolism so it doesnt drop. If you record, monitor and adjust its impossible to not get the results.
Just wanted to add in, I read a few of the comments and I have to say none of the advice is bad but at the same token none of it is good. You stick your boy on the keto diet without tracking and adjusting anything your just "hoping" to get the results you want. On top of that your depleting your boy of essential nutrients he needs to perform in the gym decreasing his chances at winning this thing. Also with that keto diet depending on how you use it, it will backfire in the end because once his glycogen storages are depleted the body naturally increases storage's for survival purposes, so when hes done his weight will increase. One more thing to that is with that diet he will destroy his bodys metabolism once again hurting his chances.
He's only 22yrs old. Running AAS at that age and BF% is a recipe for disaster.
BetterOnTopI just assumed since the dudes 280lbs and only 22%bf especially at 22 naturally thats unreal.
It's possible. But it's gonna be hard and there are going to be plateaus and he'll have to double down and work harder.
The big question is whether he has the heart to do it.
Shouldnt be that hard.. id just ease into what ever diet you pick.. if you throw him straight into a hard core diet like keto and hes never even dieted before he will burn out quick.. thats just my experience with helping newbies diet.. on the posts below I dont think he should bother with clen at his body fat.. its asking for bp issues.. clen is something you take when youre already somewhat lean.. thats just my opinion.. no need to cycle if hes just dropping fat.. at that body fat he would see more estrogenic sides which of course will make losing fat harder.. and again more possible bp issues
Agreed.
You could also have him get a blood panel to make sure he all healthy and in a good range before starting. Then when he complains you can point out his thyroid and hormones are all working properly.
But drugs can wait until he's learned the value of hard work and dedication.
Yup blood work would definitely give him an edge.. in case anything is off before he starts
Anona lot of cardio, clean food and a calorie deficit.
Of course it can be done. On top of this, hes natty. Add a little cardio in the am, on an empty stomach and he may loose more than 10%. Is it possible YES, will it be easy, Hell no. If he wants it bad enough, anything is possible. I once juiced(veggies) for 30 days and lost alot of body weight. Also I tried protein shake in the am, balanced meal in the afternoon and protein shake for dinner. I lost allot of weight on both. Cardio, diet, high protien and low carb.
RustyhookerI did it. 2hrs a day cardio. Split am/pm plus full gym workout. Clean meals with no cheats at all
Is it possible - YES
Anyone, naturally, can lose 0.5 to 1% BF a week for 6 weeks and then 0.5% thereafter up to about week 12-15. It is about Diet and Training and controling your hormones [leptin, cortisol to name a few]
If he is 22% bf dont bother with any gear or any of the other shit - you DONT need it.
Get a basic diet up
Get him to Carb Cycle
Get him to take 3000 cals per day Week 1 and 2 and then 2750 week 3 and 5 etc etc
Get him to break the diet down in to macros focussing on VLCD [low carb] and ONLY have 50g carbs POST WORKOUT
Get him on a 5x5 hard hitting 3 times a week routine focus on mainting and adding weight
Get him to to do 30 mins on treadmill fast pace EVERYDAY
Get him to do 4 x 25 burpees EVERY morning
Lose weight
Its that simple!
Cardio and get that diet in check!!!

bigunHave him take a look at this. I'm on it now and it's the truth!

That is the Keto Diet right?... I heard alot of great things about it and it works..but then some ppl say it can be dangerous in some ways?.... I think i might just put in on that Keto diet it sounds Legit.
bigunIt's pretty extreme but I can say unequivocally it works. I lost 9 lbs the 1st 2 weeks. Haven't heard of the dangers so I can't comment on that. Perhaps some more knowledgable vets can weigh in and advise you along those lines. GearHead put me on it and it's been working like a charm. Shoot me a fr and I'll be glad to share with you what I know ab Keto from my first few weeks on it.
AnonIts all going to depend on his diet and fat burning cardio.. I hope he isn't using anabolics because at that weight/bf combo it screams PROBLEMS
Ahh ok then diet and cardio should be strict. No hes natty bro.... What about if he takes some clen or and ECA stack..will that help alot faster?
Just want to add in that, I started off around 271lbs decided to use clen and do morning cardio on a empty stomach at 25%bf now Im at 243lbs.. I stopped using the clen due to muscle cramps and shaking pretty bad.
Very nice bro!
Yeah, it's doable. Going to require a perfect diet and a ton of hard work though. For example, the people on biggest loser accomplish more than 10% loss in ~4 months. Granted, accelerated large quantities of fat loss isn't that great of an idea. He'll need to stay perfectly committed to his new diet after his goal is reach or he'll rebound super fast and probably end up even fatter. Even most of those contestants on that show end up blowing up after. They end up f*ckin up their thyroid in the process for the huge calorie deficit required to lose all that weight.
Yeah that sounds legit. Thanks for commenting...... What do you think if he runs a Test only cycle with some Clen tho? Will that accelerate the fat loss? It should right?
Personally won't touch clen because of the possible cardiac side effects. My heart already has it's own issues, not worth the risk in my situation.
As for a test only cycle, it could help. It's all just diet though. The cycle will let him keep or even build a bit of muscle while dieting down.
He'll be at higher risk of estrogen side effects because of his weight though. Increased blood pressure could be real bad. Also, if he bloats up he'll look terrible with all that fat on him. In my opinion, If he doesn't work out reguarly he should try and do it natural. Then he can cycle if he chooses to pursue lifting once he's in better shape. Taking a cycle isn't going to fix poor diet, bad habits, or create motivation where there is none. No reason to just go fkn with his hormones until he is fully commited. He could really screw up his body without proper knowledge and commitment to see the cycle through properly.
bigun.
