+ 5 Watermellon what a mellon !!
Guys I have been keeping whole or quartered watermellons in my fridge now on a regular basis. Its not just for summer time Bee Bee Ques !!
Do a little research on Watermellon and you'll see it was recently discovered to be one of the highest foods in lycopene, which is a caratenoid that supports good cardiovascular function, bone health and for many o us old geezers prostate function.
Citruline is another great ingredient . Its an amino acid that gets converted in our kidneys to arginine , yet another ingredient to better blood flow !! Plus I bet youre all already taking arginine supliments arent you ?
The phenolic compounds in watermellon are flavenoids, carotenoids, and triterperoids , all three are excellent at reducing inflamation and good antioxidant health.
Now back to that Citruline ! This gives our body a nice boost in arginine a nitric oxide booster ! N.O. tells the smooth muscles around blood vessels to relax , then the relaxed muscle area increases blood flow !! This is exactly how viagra works !!

DragonovThis is all true but u can get more Citrulline from supplementation with L-Citrulline and most of the Citrulline in watermelons are found mostly in the white and green parts of the fruit were most people throw away.

I take citruline before and after every workout, its a good supp added with creatine isolate
I cut mine up.. throw it in the freezer. add it to other drinks , protein or what ever.
its frozen ice.. love it !
I have also found when seeing some test bloat 3 to 4 cups or more of watermelon is a big help and has natural diuretic properties
