Do yourself a favor and rent/buy Pain and Gain with Mark Wahlberg and The Rock...its a true story (believe it or not) about 3 guys who kidnap a millionaire and take all his shit, then try to kill him...its hilarious, about 2.25 hours long...check it out if you have the time, you wont be disappointed.

It would have been funny if it had not been a true story. I literally could not believe this was a true story. Okay...it was still funny haha!
Terrible movie! Maybe my expectations were too high. I decided to watch it when the last thread went up about this movie. I've been disappointed by high expectations before on a particular movie and liked it a bit more on a second go around. This movie though IMHO was a complete let down and not worth a second shot!
A couple really funny scenes but if they just didn't stretch the story so much it could have been brilliant. Instead it was fairly average.

For me guys the movie didn't work at all. Me and my girl went coz she wanted to see it, as we walked out of there I had a headache.
I'm surprised by how much negative feedback I've seen for this movie...I thought it was funny but hey that's just my opinion
It just might be tht I wasn't feeling tht well. Headache might have perhaps at tht time caused anything so I suppose to be fair I should watch it once more
Ace VenturaEverybody's a critic. The movie is very entertaining. I honestly didn't like it as much as I thought I would the first time I saw it, and I didn't like The Rock's character. The more I watched it, the more I liked it. I think The Rock's character is funny as hell now.

Same here me and the wife watched it and were dying...those three worked well together and because that was a true story I found it that much funnier

Really? See I knew going into it that it was a true story, so certain things you have to take with a grain of salt...but to each there own, I got a lot of laughs personally...

I was. It was a lot more dark than funny as well. I also didn't appreciate the anti-steroid propaganda in the movie as well. But to each their own.
