Am i getting too much of my nutrients from shakes?
Hello, i need to know if i'm getting too much of my calories and protein etc from my weight gainer. My goal is too increase mass/strength, i eat 5-6 meals aday
1 - oatmeal with 300ml of whole milk ,3 teaspoons of peanut butter
2 - 6 70 - 100g of pasta 30g worth of animal protein, usually beef or tuna with 3 tblspoons of olive oil
I have two shakes of hench mass gainer, one right after workout with water and one before last meal of day with 600ml of milk. One with water got like 500kcal and 25g of protein, the second 1000kcal and 55g of protein.
Is this too much calories from shakes or is it rightly balanced?
Also are there disadvantages to just eating pasta for carbs food wise?
Much help needed as iv gained 4lb this month from this diet but cant tell i it will continue

shakes are only meant to enhance your daily intake you should get at least 80% of your nutrition from whole foods.. I promise you will see better gaines as lone as your putting the time in the gym and working hard.
try eating 4000 calories without any shakes and see if the gains are better
JackHWI am getting 3500 at least, i supplement this with my gainer, what i want to know is if the additional calories from the shake will be as efficient as eating more in my meals which i struggle to get down as it is. I dont for one sec think that a diet should consist of just powders
