what happens when you miss while pinning
ad
Curious as to what happens if you pin isn't deep enough, or lands between muscles. Is the product you injected completely ineffective? Will there be increased pain, or risk for infection?

ive done tons of sub-q oil injections youll be fine. its said that it absorbs slower and unstable as mentioned below, which I dont doubt however ive never been able to tell any difference even when running TRT sub-q for weeks on end.
ClassyChassisI once pinned into what I thought was my lower biceps. I don't know where it landed up, but I don't think it was the muscle. My whole arm turned red and swelled to at least twice its normal size. It looked awesome! Ha ha, kinda scared me though, plus having one arm that's twice as big as the other is pretty noticeable. Especially when it's super-red. It went away after a few days finally.
It pays to make sure where you're pinning, and it should always be deep.
Anonif it isn't deep enough and you pin into the sub-q/fatty region the rate of dispersion will be greatly altered. Muscles allow for a consistent rate of dispersion which is why we pin into them. When you don't, rather than having nice consistent blood levels - they will be all over the place.
there definitely is a good chance of increased pain, swelling or sterile ab. when shooting into the SUB-Q as well
It will absorb slower over time. It will still be affective. You may also get a higher risk of pip and redness under the skin. I don't in general believe there is a higher risk of infection as long as you used proper sterile injection technique. Unless of course you are injecting a very large volume, that may increase the risk of abscess.
